Good hotel

Pros: Clean, cozy hotel. Well located in the center of the medina. Friendly staff.

Cons: The breakfast didn't look like the pictures, it was much poorer, eggs and salad were completely missing.

Highly recommended and would go back.

Pros: Riad Zaid is truly underrated and deserves to be known by more people. It’s centrally located in the Medina, with a famous sandwich shop just a stone’s throw away and close to the well-known Bacha Café. I cannot emphasise enough how clean the riad is, and how warm and hospitable the owner and staff are. They went above and beyond to provide everything we needed, and the welcome snacks and breakfast were excellent—we later found out that the owner used to be a chef in France. In short, highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again.

Modern clean riad with a huge room and great welcome.

Pros: This was a great big room with 3 single beds with plenty of space and very efficient aircon. The whole Riad was very clean and perfect. We had returned from climbing Toubkal and were dirty but were not judged! Welcomed with tea and had a great long nights sleep in very comfy beds.

Cons: It is not a 'don't like' but we personally prefered the quainter riads. This was absolutely lovely but had a little less personality than the others we stayed in!

Friendly family-run Riad in central location.

Pros: This family run Riad has a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace and using the pool.

Cons: The design means the central courtyard is noisy with echoes, and guests who choose to sit and chat there late into the night disturb the other guests. I would have preferred that staff suggest they use the roof terrace instead.

A Hidden Gem

Pros: This was a new hotel, it was very traditional and sweet. We loved it! Accompanied by amazing service from Redone (not spelt correctly!) Nothing was too much of an ask, he treated us like queens! Very close to the market and with some landmarks easy to not get lost! Walking distance to the palace, school and famous coffee shop! If you are looking for an authentic Moroccan experience, this place is for you!

Pros: Well located in city centre, nice structure with very kind staff. Good breakfast was a plus

Pros: As you walked in through the impressive red front door it was beautiful - very authentic, clean, airy and tastefully decorated.

Cons: Would be nice to make more of the terrace - seating area for evening drinks

Cons: Location is quite difficult. it is hidden in narrow street and it is important to ask local people to find it. prepare little money for donation.
