Riad Ocallaghan

A great base for exploring the sights of Marrakesh

Pros: I had a really pleasant stay at Riad Ocallaghan. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and communication was easy throughout. It felt relaxed comfortable and chilled. The riad itself is nicely decorated and very clean. My room was comfortable and generally quiet, which made it a good place to unwind after exploring the Medina. The location worked well — central enough to walk to the main sights, but tucked away from the busiest streets. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable each morning. Overall, a good base for a stay in Marrakech, and I’d be happy to return.

Traditional Riad

Pros: The location is ideal!! The staff is extremely attentive and with lots of recommendations

Cons: The bathroom cleaning could be improved, and amenities such as soap and body wash would be appreciated, as the bottles were empty throughout the stay.

Very nice, clean riad with friendly staff.

Pros: Marone was very helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with before and during our stay and helped us with everything we needed. Aircons worked well as it was cold during our stay this was very important. The riad was clean, light and very cute. Location is also very good. Central and close to a road where you can get a taxi. Also the wifi was very good.

Cons: As is the case in Marrakesh the breakfast is very sweet but that was the only negative thing we had to say about our stay here and that is just the way it is in Marrakesh.

Lovely riad, great location, super staff

Pros: Beautiful Riad, clean and comfy, good sized room with quality finish. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Great location in the Medina, 3 minute walk from taxi drop off/pick up.

Cons: Slightly difficult to find, address on Google maps doesn't quite match, just keep walking straight when you turn of the street with the shops and it's on the left in the covered part after the crosspath.

Pros: The Host and the director of the Riad make the difference, I would recomend this Riad to everyone I know.

Beautiful and peaceful

Pros: The Riad is run by kind, helpful and welcoming staff. They helped us with airport transfers and met us as the taxi dropped us off and walked us back to the taxi on the return. The Riad is so beautiful, calm, peaceful and relaxing after a hot day in the Medina. It's located in walking distance to lots of the key attractions. Our room was spacious, clean, beautiful and comfortable. The pool was a lovely place to cool down in and the sun terrace (albeit too hot to stay for long!) has wonderful views. We enjoyed breakfast in the central courtyard overlooking the pool. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying here.

A pleasant stay

Pros: Clean, spacious room, comfy bed, pleasant staff, pristine pool, nice vibe

Pros: Centrally located in the medina, quiet and peaceful stay. The hosts were very lovely, always happy to have a chat. They also helped us plan our trip to the Sahara.

Cons: There is a mosque next door so the 5am call to prayer woke us up.

Highly recommend!

Pros: Fantastic little Riad. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and comfortable. The pool was the perfect cool down for the heat. Rooftop views amazing. And the location was perfect for getting around the old town with plenty of restaurants nearby as well.
