Riad Ta'achchaqa

Peaceful and comfortable

Pros: In a quiet center of the medina, this riad is an excellent escape from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful interiors, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was good and I’d reccommend the tagine.

Cons: Overhead shower did not work.

Pros: We had a great stay at Riad Ta’achchaqa. From the moment we booked, Ayoub reached out through Booking’s message platform to confirm the booking with us and shared tips and information about Morocco and Marrakech with us. He helped us to arrange for an airport transfer from Casablanca airport to the Riad directly (for a fee). As the Riad is located well within the Medina, Ayoub picked us up from a meeting point near the Riad to show us the path to get to the Riad and also help to transport our luggage to the Riad. The Riad is located in a small street within the Medina but the street is patrolled by a local guard when the sun sets who will bring you to your Riad within the steets, so the area feels safe. The room is very spacious for 3 pax. We had breakfast prepared for us for each day we were there and we enjoyed it on the rooftop every morning. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Riad Ta’achchaqa.

Pros: A traditional Road within the Marrakesh Medina with all you can expect from a road, a beautiful marble courtyard Arabic style decoration and facilities that transport you to the World of the Thousand and One Nights.

Cons: Finding the Riad, like with all other riads in this area, is a challenge, you have to follow the host's instructions closely. The Medina is truly a maze!!!

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Location in medina good, although final approach intimidating if lights off. Breakfast tasty, and good to have option of having a meal in after a long time travelling.

Cons: The night porter when we left was unpleasant and rude. Out of character with rest of staff. Alley when dark and no lights on.

What you would imagine the perfect riad to be.

Pros: It is a really beautiful riad, well-maintained and stylish. My room was really magnificent - I wanted luxury and I got it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They seemed much more interested in ensuring I had what I wanted than in getting my money.

Cons: The riad is quite hard to find - as they themselves inform travellers - but I blame Google maps. Also I still cannot pronounce the name.

Pros: Staying in Riad Ta'achchaqa was one of the best things i did in Marrakesh. Staff were friendly and supportive. breakfast was very nice. Overall my experience there was amazing

Riad Ta’ achchaqa is an absolute must-stay!

Pros: Our stay at the Riad Ta’ achchaqa was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enchanted by its serene atmosphere and stunning traditional Moroccan architecture. Tucked away in a quiet alley yet centrally located, the Riad offered the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience for exploring the medina.

Pros: We stayed here for 7 days and the whole team made us feel like home from the first day. The location, inside the old Medina, even if it was hard for us to find the Riad in first place, you get used to the way very soon. This Riad is such a calming and quiet place in the middle of the beautiful chaos of the old Medina. The food and the breakfast was of high quality and so tasty!! Tbh, we had there the best tea so far, thanks to the man of the evening shift!!The location couldn't be better for us in order to get a real feeling for the vibes of Marrakesh. Thank you to the whole crew who made our stay unforgettable and one thing is for sure, we will come back.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like is that we had to leave this beautiful place. 🥲

Paradise in the heart of Marrakech

Pros: The Riad was beautiful and the staff most friendly we have ever experienced during many travels. Helpful, smiling, accommodating. The place felt like a little paradise in the heart of the busy Marrakech. Smelled of flowers, bird singing each morning. Food was delicious. We stayed with a toddler and she got also so much love from the staff. Perfect location too.. I would not stay anywhere else,if we go back to Marrakech ❤
