A peaceful, beautifully curated haven in the heart of Marrakech, with exceptional service that made our anniversary stay
Pros: The riad is absolutely beautiful – calm, elegant and immaculately maintained. The rooms are spacious and tastefully designed, with excellent facilities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive without ever being intrusive – nothing felt like too much trouble. The location is perfect: tucked away in the medina so it feels peaceful, yet within easy walking distance of the souks and main sights. It feels like a private sanctuary after the buzz of Marrakech.
Cons: Nothing, loved everything!

Fantastic in every way
Pros: Fantastic in every way, from the moment we were met from taxi and escorted to the Riad, then greeted on arrival with mint tea and advice in the area etc - great location (quickly out into souks but Riad itself is quiet and calm) and lovely staff (courteous, helpful, friendly). We enjoyed every minute of our stay there, rooms; breakfast; everything. The souks are chaotic and we kept getting lost - but we still loved them!
Cons: We wished we had booked a longer stay. We loved everything about the Riad Idra

Pros: Great Staff Abdelssamad is a true legend who is always there to help Youness and other staff are really professional, polite and helpful
Cons: Location is inside old medina with no access for taxis Uneven ground might be tricky for elderly/ wheelchaired popele

Beautiful riad, excellent location in Marrakesh!
Pros: The location was extremely convenient to the Medina, visually it was very elegant and it was very peaceful inside! The staff sourced some cable ties for my luggage which was greatly appreciated!
Cons: The room was far too perfume-y upon check-in requiring quite some airing out! Small touches like refilling the dates for the second day were not done. For an expensive riad, this seemed strange. The front door to the room creaked terribly - this is minor but should be regularly checked and addressed. A driver was organized to the airport which was greatly appreciated but the large amount of tax payable was not disclosed. This was a very avoidable annoyance and required unexpected, last minute use of foreign currency (or credit card payment). Best to disclose this to avoid last-minute issues for guests.

Brilliant short break
Pros: The location was perfect for us, by the 3rd day we could find our way through the market to the medina from the Riad, you also have the option to avoid the market and walk along the roads by the wall . The room was beautifully decorated, fresh roses in the room and petals left on the bed with a message to wish me a happy birthday, spotless. Lovely small touches like the perfume, toiletries and complimentary slippers in the bathroom. The breakfast was really filling and delicious. The staff helped me find some honey that I wanted to bring back home, nothing was too much trouble and they genuine wanted our stay to be perfect. The deputy manager was fantastic, he suggested some great places to visit. We had the hamman and the relaxing massage, both excellent. Just a word of advise.. change your currency there, we didn’t know this was an option and got a rubbish rate at home. There are several money exchange shops near the Riad.
Cons: I am a light sleeper and every morning around 7am I could hear the staff setting up for breakfast in the terrace.

Serene Boutique Oasis in the Heart of the Medina
Pros: Riad Idra is a gem tucked away in the Dar El Bacha district of the Medina - so close to bustling souks and tourist hotspots, yet once you pass through its doors, the world falls away. A beautiful riad- exceptional attention to detail and a wonderful, friendly team. The food is excellent. The massage and hammam were excellent. A highlight of the trip was our walking tour with Hamid, organised by Riad Idra. We had a really special stay and unusually for us, we’d love to return one day.
Cons: We appreciated everything

Perfect riad in Marrakesh
Pros: Great location. Beautiful room and comfy bed. Wonderful breakfasts on the roof terrace and the atrium was a calm place to sit and take stock from the craziness (in a good way) beyond the riad walls. Plus the staff were wonderful and so helpful.
Cons: It was all great.
