Beautiful peaceful place with a warm welcome

Pros: Beautiful, peaceful place. It was lovely to come back after a long day walking and relax on the rooftop or in the courtyard. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very relaxed and welcome.

Cons: Our room was facing the front and there was some noise from outside on one of the nights. Maybe pack earplugs if you sleep lightly.

pleasant and delightful stay in the Marrakech Medina

Pros: Wanted a location within city to taste culture rather than a generic 4/5 star hotel. Succeeded in spades. Muhammad and staff lovely. Beds large and comfy. Dining area bright and welcoming.

Cons: Breakfasts are quite simple. Bread based but tasty all the same.

Absolutely perfect!

Pros: This was our second time staying in this Riad. We loved it! The owners and staff are just so friendly and helpful. The Riad is beautiful. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. It's a peaceful haven in the middle of a bustling city!

A real Moroccan experience in a traditional Riad.. A 20 min stroll though local area.

Pros: Traditional Moroccan experience. Beautiful decor. Exceptionally pleasant staff. Good breakfast

Cons: We stayed in Winter so understandably it was a bit cold morning and evening. Perfect for overnights after a busy day out, but not much atmosphere if you want to stay in. I expect it may be different in summer on rooftop terrace. 20 min stroll through local residential area which when got our bearings was ok

Pros: For anyone thinking of going to Morocco, Riad Shaden in the heart of the Marrakech Medina is an absolute hidden gem! Mohammed, Imad and Said are so welcoming and work very hard to provide the best, quality service for all of their guests, nothing is too much trouble for them. I first stayed here 2 years ago and I was welcomed back with open arms like i had never been away! Would totally recommend to anyone who wants an authentic feel of Marrakech ❤️

Beautiful Riad and Fantastic Staff

Pros: A fantastic holiday owed in huge part to the staff at the Riad. They do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and ensure you have everything (day trips, information, facilities...) you need. An oasis of calm in the middle of the Medina. The room was really comfortable and we both slept well.

Wonderful staff in a nice Riad but not a great area

Pros: The staff were really wonderful, thank you Mohammed especially for being so helpful and considerate. It was very clean and comfortable.

Cons: The area is really rundown and poor and it’s not a good neighbourhood or street for tourists. It didn’t feel that safe walking home.

Friendly, homely, authentic and fabulous value for money

Pros: The Riad itself is beautiful and comfortable but what makes it truly special is the staff. Muhammad and Siad were attentive and very helpful. Whilst I was travelling with friends we were in different Riads.....and did I chose well. I felt safe and very well looked after. A special mention to Imad too who was also very helpful. 20 min slow walk into the centre of the Medina. Both myself and friends would definitely return to this homely Riad....breakfasts are fab.

Cons: The beds are a little hard but what can you expect for the price. It's superb value for money.
