Amazing short trip

Pros: This part of the Medina remains more traditional, not geared to tourism. This was a culture shock for us - in a good way! Though the area is far from manicured it let us understand more quickly where we were. Riad is entered off a narrow alley, some buildings still propped after the September 2023 earthquake. Staff are gentle, warm and thoughtful. Plenty of hot water. Our bed was very comfortable and this lovely Riad is clean and quite atmospheric. We sat by the courtyard pool, the first floor living room, used the roof terrace.

Cons: One detail - I would have liked better coffee in the morning to reach full consciousness. We found a local coffee shop 4 minutes away (no English spoken, try French).

Amazing experience. Glad we picked the hotel. Very friendly staff and always able to help.

Cons: Could smell the drainage sometimes in the bathroom and no kettle.

Overall a good stay

Pros: All the staff were very polite and very helpful, I have no complaints. The breakfast was being prepared at that moment, it's not buffet style, but it's good and every day has some changes. However, it didn't have Nutella which my kids wanted. Every day they tidied our room and changed our towels.

Cons: I didn't particularly like its location, it was a 20 minute walk to Jamal el Fna, if that wasn't the main problem, but the fact that you were passing through neighborhoods that caused you some concern. Of course, no one bothered us. But it was close to the wall that surrounds the medina so you could easily get out for a taxi etc. There were also no toiletries in the bathroom except for soap...

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay at Abelia Riad! The staff was going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable (big shout out to Taha for being an excellent host). The food was delicious and plenty, the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Well-working wifi. Located in the centre of the medina, walking distance to major town attractions - and whenever we needed taxi transport, hotel staff helped us to book it and get to the taxi safely. Highly recommended :)

Cons: The description of where the hotel is located would have helped, as it was quite difficult to find initially.

Pros: Very beautiful and clean riad. The receptionist was so kind!!

Cons: In our bathroom the heater was not working, the air conditioner was making noise and the hair dryer was not strong enough. You could not easily regulate the hot water.

Cons: Beds could be more comfortable and the shower pressure was pretty poor (we were on the top floor room) but it was hot.
