Riad Bab aylen - Piscine Roof Top chauffée

A wonderful stay in a magical riad that allowed us to live both in luxury and also experience life as a local.

Pros: A beautiful riad with a pool and a lovely terrace. There were lots of places for us to relax. Each bedroom had an en suite so no bathroom sharing.

Cons: The location was a bit of a shocker, it’s right in the middle of a bustling medina. Some of the surrounding properties are in disrepair/falling apart and it was kinda hard to get used to, but once you do (around day 3) you realise it’s just life there and you get on with it.

Pros: Everything, we had an amazing stay. Bouchra was such a great host

PARADISE 5 STAR RIAD don't look further choose here!

Pros: Perfection 5 Stars.... This riad is a little bit of paradise in the heart of marrakech. The rooms are beautifully done and spotlessly clean. The pool area and bar on top floor just perfect to relax. Boushra is the best cook ever.... and her husband who takes care of the driving is just fabulous. 10 min walk to madina square with lots to see and do on the way. No one who books this raid could ever be disappointed..... it's perfection 👌

Cons: Nothing everything was perfect. The location is a little daunting at first as its off the main street down a dark alley way but once you enter the riad and get settled this disappeared. We felt very safe but kept our wits about us.

Exceptional stay in every respect .

Pros: Everything! The Riad was exceptional in all respects. We had the place to ourselves and walked everywhere . The housekeepers Bouchra and Petit Sem were exceptional and very friendly ( only speak French by the way) and the food, traditional and fantastic

Cons: Nothing. It was faultless.

Pros: It was clean and maintained well. Beds were comfortable, facilities worked well. Housekeeper, driver and host easy to communicate with. They are very accommodating and available on call 24/7. Perfect place to live like a local.

Cons: If never been Marrakech before, the location is in quite a rundown area however still very safe. Most of Medina and inside the wall is rundown though so if that’s not to your liking, it’s better to stay outside of the wall and Medina. The riad is a good distance (about 15-20mins walk) from the main square, markets and local restaurants in Medina. If you want the full Marrakech experience, stay in a riad. If you want some luxury in your stay, it’s better to stay in a hotel in a better location (outside Medina)

Pros: Fuimos toda la familia a celebrar el 70 cumpleaños de mi madre y nuestra estancia en el riad fue estupenda. El alojamiento es muy bonito, limpio y con una decoración muy auténtica, totalmente autóctona, que te hace sentir en Marruecos desde el primer momento. Los baños estaban muy bien cuidados y todo funcionaba perfectamente. Y un puntazo las mantas eléctricas en las camas. La verdad que no pasamos frío y eso que era enero. Queremos destacar especialmente a la Bouchra, que nos preparó desayunos deliciosos todos los días y además una cena una de las noches que fue espectacular. También fue un gran punto a favor contar con Yassine, y una tranquilidad saber que le puedes contactar las 24h.

Cons: Como aspectos a tener en cuenta, la calle donde se encuentra el riad puede dar una mala impresión al principio, ya que es una zona humilde con algunas casas en ruinas, aunque con el paso de los días te acostumbras y no supone realmente ningún problema. Por otro lado, las almohadas eran bastante altas, lo único que nos resultó un poco incómodo.

Smaakvol Riad met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Pros: Marrakech is een prachtige, maar intensieve stad, met veel prikkels. Het is dan heerlijk om na een bezoek aan de stad in de rust van de Riad terecht te komen. Wij hadden de hele Riad voor onszelf, dat maakte het extra fijn. Borrelen op het dakterras, het heerlijke eten van Bouchra in de eetkamer, in het zonnetje liggen op de ligbedden, we hebben genoten! Het Riad is smaakvol ingericht met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Speciale dank aan Bouchra, die ons heeft verwend met haar heerlijke maaltijden en Yassine, die nooit iets teveel was en ons (altijd met een lach en veel gevoel voor humor) heeft rondgereden in zijn taxibus.

Cons: Ik zou werkelijk niets kunnen bedenken.

Pros: Smukt indrettede værelser som passede fint i størrelse til gruppen. Dejlig mad og sødt personale som gjorde alt til en god oplevelse for os. Hele Riad’en er der kredset om og der er super rent.

Cons: Svært med kommunikationen da de kun taler fransk, men de var meget søde og gjorde det så fint for os. Roof top med den lille pool kunne godt gøres mere rent når vi havde været der. Koldt i Riad’en i november

Séjour inoubliable

Pros: Un vrai petit cocon, tout est parfait la décoration soignée, la prestation ( repas et petit-déjeuner délicieux),et surtout la gentillesse du personnel et de Bouchra, une perle. Nous avons bien profité également de la piscine. Très bien situé nous avons pu aller dans plusieurs endroits à pied, Médina, école coranique.... un super riad à refaire pour un plus long séjour. Nous étions un groupe de plusieurs personnes et nous avons tous été enchantés par notre séjour.

Cons: Rien, tout était parfait.
