Relaxing weekend trip

Pros: Breakfast was excellent and a great start to the day. The room was comfortable, and the location was very convenient, close to both the pool and the restaurant. The area itself was also very quiet, which we really appreciated. The staff were consistently kind and friendly.

Cons: When we arrived to check in, the staff didn’t seem to know which room we had booked, and nothing was really explained to us. We were offered complimentary Moroccan tea while we waited for the room to be ready, which was a nice gesture, but beyond that, there was no real orientation. Nobody walked us through the property, the services available, or practical details such as facilities, pool access, or opening times. We were essentially left to figure things out ourselves. The room was prob. 90 sqm. 1 King-sized bed and 2 queen-sized couches by the entrance windows. The first night, we ordered room service, and it felt like our order was forgotten. After waiting for about an hour with no update, we had to call again to remind them. It was resolved, but it set the tone early on that the internal coordination wasn’t where it should be. On the second night, during dinner, the drinks that were included in the meal we ordered were also forgotten. To their credit, they did provide them free of charge later when we were heading to bed, which helped a bit, but being handed a “to go” glass of champagne at that point felt awkward and not like the kind of experience you expect in that setting. When we later wanted to order whisky from the bar, they didn’t have what they said they had available. The interaction also gave the impression that there was limited knowledge of spirits and cocktails in general, and that the bar service lacked basic bartending experience, which was disappointing given the overall positioning of the property. Overall, it felt as though we were repeatedly overlooked, despite having booked their most expensive room. The individual staff members were kind, polite, and genuinely accommodating when we spoke to them directly, but it didn’t feel like the team communicated internally or had clear responsibility for guest follow-up. The service, therefore, fell short of what I expected at this price level.

Really beautiful and personable

Pros: Small and cozy but still luxurious and very comfortable- does not have that big hotel feel, all the same. The breakfast was lovely

Cons: Nothing to report really. To note it’s not in the centre of town so will need taxi or car to get around - but that’s fairly obvious from seeing the location

Great throughout

Pros: Really lovely, secluded and well maintained. I usually find swimming pools too cold and thought that the warmer pool would be good for me but the larger and colder pool was the perfect temperature for swimming and relaxing in, even in winter. The smaller pool was almost bath temperature and was great for laying back in. The suite was great, very large bedroom, living room and bathroom. The suite was also secluded and had its own private swimming pool that wasn’t mentioned in the description! The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Pros: The staff were superb. Such a warm welcome and could not have done anymore to make our stay enjoyable. Special THANKS to Hanane, Afani, Assmas and the incredible Sokuma. It was a pleasure to meet you all and you showed a marvelous Moroccan experience. Buffet breakfast was superb and the evening food was also delicious.

Cons: The alcohol, drinks and wine were very expensive.

Amazing!

Pros: We had an amazing stay, food was exceptional with plenty of variety, the staff were lovely and very helpful and it was a beautiful property.

Cons: This didn’t affect us but it’s about a 20-25 minute drive to Marrakesh but the reception will happily book a taxi for you and it’s not expensive.

Fantastic Hotel & staff

Pros: The room was perfectly clean, huge comfy bed, peaceful & warm. Massive TV with all the apps etc that you could ever need. Bathroom was clean, good hot shower. Having the gym onsite was a massive bonus for us, we used it everyday. The area around the heated pool is fantastic for relaxing. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is amazing, so much choice and pretty much all you can eat. It's a great location if you want to get out of the hustle and grime of Marrakesh city, we were so happy to come back to this hotel after a day in the filthy, overrated city.

Cons: The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so there's nothing within walking distance. Although the breakfast is very good, the lunchtime and evening menu's are very expensive (equal to or more than euro prices) and the food that I ordered was below standard for the price. Best to fill up on breakfast at the hotel and eat dinner in the city if you go (personally I'd avoid Marrakesh altogether, it's dirty and very overrated).

Modern suites, short drive from the city centre, friendly staff

Pros: The property is located about 25 minutes drive from Gueliz, an easy commute in for those looking to experience the serenity of the palmeraie area whilst having easy access to the city centre. Friendly staff, thank you Soukaina at the reception and Thami at the main entrance for the welcome. Large clean suites, I moved my flight and extended my stay taking a large loft suite by the main pool for the first half of my stay and then took the queen suite. Both suites were nice and clean, spacious and easy to warm up on a cold winters day. Ample parking on site for those renting a car.

Cons: N/a
