Lovely atmospheric Hotel with the staff to back it up!
Pros: The staff were warm and welcoming from the start. They were always on hand to answer any questions or to give good advice. The hotel itself is charming and beautiful. My room was spacious and clean with nice hot water from the shower and there was a fridge and safe inside. The pool area is nice for relaxing, but beware the water is very cold and refreshing! The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and recommended for the price. The location is good - inbetween the Train staion and the Medina and only a short distance from other places of interest.

Lovely old hotel at a good price
Pros: Despite the many negative reviews, we love Moroccan House as we prefer the authenticity of this lovely old hotel. The room is spacious with great aircon and a fridge to keep drinks cold and the bathroom has a good shower. Lovely large pool which is very clean. Breakfast is delicious with plenty of variety. For the price, we are very happy.
Cons: The pillows are lumpy and could do with replacing.

Pros: This hotel is simple and good value. Nice to have a balcony and a spacious room.
Cons: The hotel is fine, with lovely decor that has got shabby. Some work needed to restore to its former elegance.

A hotel to recommend.
Pros: Traditionally and warm colored decorated. Friendly and very helpful staff.
Cons: The finish is less, but this is quite normal in these countries, But we didn't have any problems with this. It's part of it. Very hard mattress.

My fifth visit to this lovely little friendly hotel, will definitely return again!
Pros: Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Fresh fruit would be a welcome addition.
Cons: Room was pretty noisy due to traffic.

Don't drink the orange juice
Pros: Fridge in the room. A real bath - a bit on the small side but it was lovely. Breakfast - apart from the orange juice. Location in Gueliz within walking distance of the Jardin Majorelle. Good restaurants nearby - especially Babakish - a Lebanese restaurant.
Cons: Orange juice at breakfast was re-constituted powdered stuff, which seems crazy when Morocco grows such tasty oranges and freshly squeezed juice is so fantastic.

Friendly and welcoming hotel
Pros: Very nice hotel, away from all the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. It is located in Geliz, in a super central area and about 15 minutes walk from the famous Jma El Fna square. The staff are all very friendly and cordial. The rooms are spacious and decorated with beautiful Moroccan furniture. The interior of the Hotel itself is very tasteful, we all really liked it. Very nice terrace and pool. Next year we plan to return.
Cons: Poor wifi signal.

A wonderful and welcoming stay at Moroccan House Hotel
Pros: Staff were so kind and helpful, it turned into a real home from home for us (mother and two children). Fantastic location, close to supermarket, shops and restaurants. Easy walk to The Medina. Breakfast delicious, good variety of food options. Pool area great, sun pretty much all day. Some might say that the hotel needs updating, perhaps the bathroom areas, but that didn’t bother us at all, we loved how traditional it was, all areas are clean and well maintained. Room was ideal, good size for three people, clean, beds comfy, spacious bathroom. Overal decor of the hotel was charming, the lounge areas a pleasure to spend time in.
