very convenient stay, and excellent location

Pros: Small scale friendly family place with helpful staff. Everything went as smooth as can be.

Pros: Riad Laichi is located in a quite alley of Marrakech and still close to city center! Mobarak was great in trying to keep us content all the time :) thank you for everything!

Lovely stay and lovely hosts

Pros: Lovely stay. The location was handy on the edge of the medina. Just remember it’s number 42 so you can find it down the alleyway. Mubarak & his father spoke very good English from years being in the hospitality industry. Very caring, often checking you’re ok / slept well, etc. The House Buntings were cute and very cheeky, even trying to eat my breakfast.. Their call sounded like they were saying “hello” !

Cons: The breakfast became a little monotonous for me with different types of bread, as per people’s photos, some fruit would have helped but I bought some during the day. Unfortunately the room I was in (1st floor, corner) had a chemical type smell, which seemed to come from the woodstain on the door. Despite lots of fresh air, after 2 nights I asked to move. As other guests had left I could choose any room.. so the top one, near the terrace, with a bath, became my new home! Much better room for me as it was much brighter and I could easily see the sky and hear the birds 😁

It was great time there!

Pros: Beautiful interior, nice location pretty close to the fast Medina life but still in calm area, i did enjoy my time there! Mubarak helped me with everything i asked about! I have had very warm big bed, hot water in bath, that was really inportant at the coldest time in Marocco. So, i am happy! The breakfast was great with even birds who came like from Heaven! I am smiling thinking of the time i spent there!

Pros: The weather was very cold so it was nice to have warm water and heating in the accommodation. The location is very comfortable, close to city center and on the other side there’s a lively neighbourhood with restaurants and shops. The owner of the riad takes care of the guests very well and is also flexible if needed.

Interesting experience, location okay in a very bustling city

Pros: The Riad is beautiful, the team is welcoming and room was nice. The roof top terrace for New Year Eve was excellent and it's right in the heart of the Medina which is great for markets. Accommodation itself was very quiet.

Cons: The room while nice was very basic, the bathroom fine but no soap provided nor facilities for tea making or anything. The bed was extremely hard so we didn't sleep great. The Medina was busy during the day and very quiet at night. Worth visiting to experience it.

Pros: We really enjoyed our first visit to Marrakech. The accommodation was great, perfectly clean, in a strategic location in the city center, we definitely recommend it. The host was very attentive and caring. The breakfasts were hearty and tasty, fresh mint tea was always available. A bonus is sitting on the roof terrace. During three days we visited most of the most famous sights of Marrakech and took a full-day organized trip to the Atlas Mountains.

Pros: Breakfast was served and varied a little each day Well located if you wanted to be in The Medina Rooftop terrace provided Sun or Shade (as per your preferences) for relaxation Clean bedroom and bathroom

Cons: Just be aware that when you arrive to check for property number - 42 above door as no sign for Riad - not a negative - just need to bear in mind

Great Location to explore Marrakech

Pros: Great Location and easy to orientated yourself to explore the medina. Riad Laichi provides a good level.of comfort and manager Mubarak and his team were at hand to ensure I had a good stay in Marrakech. I appreciated the furm bed and being at the top of the riad next to the roof terrace and snug. Overall a great stay.

Cons: No rail or hook to hang up a towel. Some simple signage outside on the alleyway would help locate the riad.

Pros: An amazing host, very helpful. We liked our stay very much. The riad was not big, with few rooms. All very tidy. The rooftop is perfect for evenings, you can chill there with a book
