Riad Alizé

Riad was great, staff fantastic! Taxi arrangements were disappointing.

Pros: Staff was very kind and supportive, everyday, every time. And breakfast was delicious.

Cons: Maybe not fair to point the property, but the taxi from the Riad to airport was not good at all. The driver was extremely unpolite and even aggressive with words. That was arranged by the Riad to go from Road to airport on our return. It was a pity but finally was the Riad responsibly to get someone that is able to serve as a standard taxi driver, and not trying to offend passengers. Other than that was all great!

Pros: An incredible experience at Riad Alizé! As it was our first experience in Marrakech we were unsure prior to booking which location would be best but this is situated ideally in the Old Town/Medina area. Many wonderful restaurants and experiences (e.g. Bacha Coffee and Le Jardin Secret) are a short walk away But what we loved most about our stay were the welcoming and kind staff- especially Youssef! As two young female travellers we felt very safe in this Riad and looked after by the staff Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, we hope to one day visit again! We definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to visit Marrakesh

Pros: Hosts were very friendly- especially Soufiyan Breakfast was lovely Hotel was very peaceful The roof terrace was beautiful in the sun

Cons: The WiFi did not work at all in the room, but did work well in communal areas The shower area was very small, turning the whole bathroom into a wet room The room was a bit cold- however it was January!

Nice place would recommend

Pros: Very nice staff, breakfast was the perfect amount of food, bed was comfortable. The place was very nice and fancy. The location was very quiet. 15 min walk from the markets. Would recommend getting the airport shuttle makes life so much easier. Decent size room.

Cons: Little bit hard to find, no signs anywhere.

Cosy riad in heart of Marrakech Medina

Pros: The customer service (especially by Soufiyan) was amazing. He gave us a detailed rundown of the city and advice on the best places to visit in Marrakech and best foods to try. Lovely lunch organised for us for the day we arrived and breakfast every morning was really nice too. Cup of tea at night before bed was great to help unwind after a long day. Riad is located in a central location and short walking distance from the souk and Fenn square.

Cons: Wifi is very poor in the Riad. Can’t access from the rooms at all and cuts out even when sitting right to the router in courtyard. Soap needs to be provided in the bathroom. Alleyway has no sign or label to indicate that Riad Alize was in that direction. Even sign above the front door would be helpful.

Excellent location, right in the center of Marrakech.

Pros: Quiet and friendly place, with great advice from the staff. Correct service, delicious dinner, and we slept wonderfully.

A peaceful stay with warm hosts, delicious food, and a true home-like feeling.

Pros: I had a wonderful stay with my niece in this beautiful and peaceful riad. Soufiane and Fatima were incredibly kind and made us feel at home. They prepared a delicious tagine for us, and everything was very clean and well taken care of. I truly recommend this riad.

Pros: Goodness me, where to start?! If anyone ever decides to visit Marrakesh should choose Riad Alizé! Exceptional service provided by wonderful staff. Soufiane, one of the guardians of the Riad is the most amazing host, alongside Abdel and Yousef. Delightful breakfast and lunch provided every day by the local cook, Fatima. These wonderful people made sure we are taken care of better than in a 5 star hotel, and that we have an authentic and memorable experience of Marrakesh.

Pros: Great location, and the staff could not have been more helpful.

Cons: There was nothing to not like.

Perfect Riad next to the Souk

Pros: The rooms were all so clean with very comfortable beds and the shared areas were bright, cool and spotless. The team were so friendly and really took care of everything from helping to order taxis to recommending places to eat.
