Pros: Riad Babel is a wonderful place to stay in Marrakesh! This small guesthouse is a simple and very beautiful place that welcomes those who look for comfort and tranquility in the medina. Aziz was the perfect host! We arrived late in the afternoon, in an unusually rainy day, and he gave us all the support needed with our luggage from the transport to Riad Babel. The tea and biscuits offered with joy were the best way to start the vacations! During our 4 days in Marrakesh, Aziz was always ready to support any information our shared needs.

Beautiful quiet & peaceful Riad experience with lovely hosts

Pros: Beautiful quiet and peaceful Riad. Very well located - we could walk easily everywhere. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the communal areas were also calm and cozy. Our hosts, Amini & Aziz were very welcoming and helpful and a special mention must go to the amazing breakfasts Amini whipped up for us each day!!

Modern yet authentic Riad, great location, even better hosts

Pros: Beautiful riad! Location was great, in a quieter area of the medina but really close to the nicer souks/spa area and a short walk from all key attractions as well as popular restaurants in the new town. Aziz and Amina were fantastic hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Aziz gave us great advice on what to see, helped with everything from taxis and walking routes to late check out and printing our boarding passes. Always there to greet us smiling, he made a great difference to our stay. Amina was also fantastic and prepared a lovely breakfast each morning, adapted to our requests. Again, always incredibly kind to us. Rooftop is lovely for basking in the afternoon sun and taking time out from the hustle and bustle. Courtyard is also super pretty and well kept. A really great spot to consider for a Riad experience in the heart of Marrakech.

Best Breakfast Ever

Pros: The staff (Aziz and Amina) were exceptional. Great hosts!! Aziz was really informative and made navigating the hustle and bustle of marrakech very easy. The breakfasts were absolutely divine and when we fell ill we felt safe and well looked after. Decor on the property was gorgeous

Cons: On the first day it was difficult to find the property. Perhaps a sign or something would make this a bit easier. Construction near the property was disturbing but no fault of Riad Babel. Any extras outside of the room must be paid in cash which isn’t a problem but it did catch us off guard. Aziz was really helpful with pointing out best places to get extra cash out for dinner/exertions.

Tranquil oasis in heart of busy Marrakesh.

Pros: The staff Amina and Driss were so lovely and accommodating. Lovely food prepared by Amina. Very peaceful and beautiful interior design blending traditional and modern.

Good discovery. Small cozy place

Pros: Absolutely everything Beautiful Riad, wonderful service and kindness from their staff. First time in Marrakesh, so in our ignorance , we were a bit taken aback by the neighbourhood when we arrived, and then realized location was great. We would love to come back. Thank you Driss for your calm and collected attitude towards all of our requests.

Pros: The most amazing Riad in the heart of Marrakesh. The riad itself was stunning, always clean and smelt beautiful. However the staff are what makes this place so special, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They are the heart and soul of the riad and make this place what it is! Thank you so so much for making our stay so special. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!

A peaceful escape in the heart of Marrakesh

Pros: We stayed at Riad Babel for several nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place in Marrakesh. The riad is beautifully minimalistic, calm and very clean – a perfect contrast to the busy streets just outside. From the warm welcome with mint tea and sweets to the peaceful courtyard and small pool, everything was designed to make guests feel at home. The rooms are cozy, well-equipped and thoughtfully maintained. The breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying: traditional Moroccan bread, jams, eggs made to order, fresh orange juice and coffee. A special thank you to Driss and Amina for their kindness, patience and generosity – we truly appreciated your help and presence. You made our stay not only comfortable, but memorable. We would absolutely return and recommend Riad Babel to anyone looking for hospitality, quiet, and charm in the Medina.
