Exceptional stay at Riad Rafaele

Pros: Very beautiful Riad. Well located. Very good breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Redone and Mr. Ibrahim. And Mr. Souleymane too.

Cons: Booking.com announced a balcony and a terrace which are public hotel areas typical for a Riad. There was also a mini pool (to look and not for use) in the patio. No idea where the sauna was, certainly not a private spa bath as announced. The list of amenities seems a bit long compared to what was really at site

A wonderful time in a beautiful, vibrant and friendly place

Pros: We loved our stay at Riad Rafaele. It is beautiful, stylish and remarkably peaceful given it’s central location. The staff are excellent, particularly Solomon who made us feel comfortable and cared for, as well as sharing helpful tips and recommendations. We highly recommend this Riad.

Cons: Booking.com described it as having a swimming pool but it does not. There is a decorative pool and spa treatments on offer for a fee

Pros: Amazing location in the heart of the Medina. We where treated like family and cannot complement staff enough!

Cons: We just wish we could have stayed longer

Pros: Super cozy and friendly riad. Staff is amazing - never experienced a better welcome and taking good care of the guests. Balcony area is very relaxing. We spent New Year’s there, and no surprise the atmosphere was magic.

Cons: Some of the furniture in the rooms could be a bit more “maroccan”.

Paradise behind a hidden door.

Pros: Hidden oasis tucked behind the walls of the busy city. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. We had a trip to go to at 7am and they even organized a little breakfast for us before they opened for Breakfast at 8am. This riad will stay with me forever, beautiful smells of flowers and the sound of birds in the morning, it's difficult to describe but it was something I have never experienced before. Coming from the hectic medina streets into this calming sanctuary was beautiful. Our location on the edge of the busy medina was perfect for the best of both worlds.

A fantastic Riad with fantastic staff.

Pros: The staff were amazing, especially Ibrahim and Ridhwan. They were always on hand to give advice about where to visit and the best restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and having it on the rooftop was very special. The Riad was in the perfect location.

Fantastic Rhiad in the heart of the medina. Beautiful decor and friendly helpful staff that truly made my stay a memory

Pros: Beautiful Rhiad, courtyard was stunning and tranquil as was the room. I stayed on the ground floor. Beds were comfortable and the property was very clean. I have travelled to many places and can honestly say the staff and service received were one of the best. The team went above and beyond to make sure you were comfortable and were equipped with local knowledge. It was my birthday and I was surprised one morning after breakfast with a birthday cake and a gift which was so thoughtful. I will never forget it.

Cons: Hard to find something I didn’t like but if I have to, I would say it was hard to get ready as although there were mirrors there were none near a chair where you could sit to makeup and hair. Due to the beautiful ambient lighting it was hard to see. I would suggest taking a mirror you can stand on bedside table with a battery light.

Perfect location and brilliant team at Riad Rafaele

Pros: Just stayed 5 nights at Riad Rafaele and throughly enjoyed it. We loved the location near the top end of the souk, we found the artisan shops here much more interesting. The team at Riad Rafaele were simply superb, literally nothing was too much trouble. Tea to welcome you back to the Riad at night, heaters if you were chilly at night, they checked you had water to go to bed with. It’s a peaceful oasis from the mayhem of Marrakech, smelt beautiful as soon as you walked in, rooms were very comfortable and the whole vibe was relaxed comfort. We will return.

Pros: We found the property exceptional,a hidden little gem tucked away from the busy streets and the perfect retreat after exploring the city. What really set this place apart, though, was the incredible attention to detail from the staff. They went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in Marrakesh. No request was ever too big or too small, and everything was handled with genuine warmth, humour, and a smile. We’d recommend this place without hesitation.
