Paradise in the Medina

Pros: Riad Spa Esprit du Maroc was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Tucked away from the bustle, the riad feels like a peaceful sanctuary the moment you step inside, calm, elegant, and beautifully authentic. The riad itself is stunning, with traditional Moroccan architecture, exquisite tilework, and a warm, intimate atmosphere. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect balance between authenticity and luxury. The staff were exceptional. Kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, they went out of their way to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect, always with a smile and a sense of pride in what they do. Riad Spa Esprit du Maroc is a place where you truly unwind and feel looked after. Sylvia the owner is lovely and welcoming. An authentic, luxurious, and soul-restoring stay that we would wholeheartedly recommend and would absolutely return to.

Pros: Great riad experience, room very comfortable, rooftop is nice too, I recommend if you want a riad experience, upon checkin they offer morocco mint tea, has gym, AC works very fine.

Cons: Gym needs improvements and breakfast was very simple: only breads, one yogurt, tea, coffee, one fruit plate, cheese. Charge extra for making something else, location was a bit hard to find, because in the middle of the medina. Staff is limited.

Great experience

Pros: Just as described on the site—a clean and beautifully maintained Riad. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh orange juice and made-to-order omelettes, especially enjoyable on the beautiful rooftop terrace. Our room was spacious, with air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and reliable Wi-Fi. The location is perfect—within walking distance of key attractions in the old town. We also treated ourselves to a fantastic massage on the last day.

Cons: Of course, this isn't a hotel, so some amenities are missing—such as an iron, in-room service, bottled water, or a kettle for tea and coffee. The approach to the Riad can be a bit jarring at first: narrow alleyways, the unpleasant sight of nearby rubble and broken neighboring property , and the smell of sewage. However, once inside, the Riad is beautiful and peaceful. Over time, you get used to the alleyways.

Pros: Friendly staff. Beautiful interior and roof terrace. Room decorated for arrival. View of Atlas mountains in the distance on a clear day. Perfect for relaxing in the sun with a mint tea after a busy day exploring the medina. Pleasant peaceful ambience.

Cons: Took time to check in to our room. Couldn't get anything to eat at the riad. Breakfast and dinner after 8pm only. However, we were taken to a nearby cafe after check-in.

Romantic, scenic and tranquil.

Pros: The property was very clean, peaceful and beautiful.

Cons: There were little things that didn’t make the stay 10/10 such as the pool was not heated. I wish the staff were a bit more personable. This does not take away from the fact that they were still amazing I just have high standards.

Pros: Мы путешествовали в декабре и в Марракеше было очень холодно, а в доме ещё холоднее. Но в номере можно было включить кондиционер на тёплый режим + стоял один радиатор, но мы всё равно замёрзли :( Очень отзывчивый персонал, помогли со всеми нашими трудностями, лично провожали до обменника денег, отвечали на любые вопросы. Очень расстроил завтрак, он был невероятно долгим, минут 30 мы ждали то, что включено в стоимость: йогурт, батон, чай/кофе, джем. Яичницу можно заказать отдельно, но ждать ещё минут 30. Местоположение мы запомнили сразу, хотя оно и не самое простое. Рияд располагается в старом городе и чтоб уехать/приехать надо долго идти до места где могут останавливаться такси. И конечно же ты сразу выходишь из отеля в полный хаос восточного рынка, но в самом доме и в комнатах абсолютная тишина. Думаю на пару ночей это хороший аутентичный вариант.

Fijn verblijf in comfortabele Riad

Pros: De Riad is erg comfortabel. De bedden lagen fantastisch en de ontbijtzaal/lobby was ook een prettige plek. Het weer zat bij ons niet mee dus het zwembad/dakterras hebben we niet kunnen beoordelen. Zeker een fijne locatie en daardoor een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Cons: Het ontbijt was wat ongevariëerd, dat was jammer. Communicatie was soms ook wat lastig. Wij spreken geen Frans en er was veel ontduidelijkheid met betrekking tot betalen (pinnen of cash) in het Engels.

Pros: Tout Le cadre exceptionnel La propriétaire et le personnel adorable

Pros: Riad je izuzetan, arhitektura je jako skladna i autenticna. Smestaj je veoma uredan, cist, prostran, sa mnogo sadrzaja. Osoblje je prijatno i usluzno. Halid nam je puno pomogao sa preporukama. Hamam i devojke koje su nas masirale su neverovatne. Posle skoro dva meseca i dalje smo pod lepim utiskom od ovog smestaja.

Pros: Superbe riad décoré avec goût et très bien entretenu. Chambre splendide. Personnel très agréable. Bon petit déjeuner.
