Riad Spice by Marrakech Riad

Would definitely recommend Riad Spice and the great staff to travellers to Marrakech.

Pros: Easy access to the souks and near to a lot of restaurants and sites. The staff were very nice, helpful and attentive.

Cons: The room was a little bit cold at night.

Enjoyed a lot, it’s truly a best place to enjoy riad experience and Marrakesh

Pros: The property is really good and located in the centre itself, walkable to any sightseeing points. Everything was well organised- airport shuttle, breakfast and even to book for other sevices, they helped us a lot. Especially Hamsa and Lahcen took care of everything we wanted and helped us throughout our stay. They did good reservations for us from food spots to hammam. Daily room services were also really good, the girls did a wonderful job. Truly enjoyed the stay.

Would definitely recommend especially due to the staff

Pros: The staff were really friendly and so helpful with our bags, recommendations, and providing teas/coffees.

Cons: The beds were slightly hard

Amazing hotel for families

Pros: My family and I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay at Road Spice. The building is so beautiful and the location is perfect. However, what really made our stay so memorable was the staff. Lahcen, Hamza, Zouhair and all the ladies in the kitchen were so good to us while we were there. Always willing to go the extra mile for us, even surprising me with a birthday cake! We travelled with our young daughter and they treated her like family. Very sad to leave, and would definitely stay again.

Cons: Nothing, probably the best stay we have had.

Good central Riad at a sensible price

Pros: Communication prior to arrival was very helpful and all our requests had been met. Taxi was met by someone to walk us into the Riad. We enjoyed the central location, good breakfast, roof top terrace, and arrangements and guide for a walking tour. We appreciated the meal our first evening, but it felt a bit strange as we were the only ones having dinner. All the staff were friendly.

Cons: we stayed in The Ginger Room - our room was a little narrow and limited storage for clothes. There was lots of hot water but it was difficult to control so you needed to take care while in the shower and climbing in and out as over deep bath. The staff offered to book restaurants for us both other nights from their recommendations - on arrival the restaurants had no booking but on mention of Riad found us a table so a minor communication problem somewhere.

Pros: Staff particularly helpful and map and app provided were invaluable for finding our way around.

Cons: Bed a bit hard

Comfortable stay. Nice breakfast.

Pros: The property was lovely, rooms were nice and spacious, bathroom was nice too. Glad there was extra blankets as it gets chilly at night in January.

Cons: There should be a phone line in the room.

Pros: The service is really good and the personas are super helpful and also the location is good.

Cons: The entrance can be a bit hard to find. A random local man guided us about 10 meters to it and then aggressively asked for money. Just make sure you remember where the entrance is.

Pros: Everything!!!! The riad was stunning and in an excellent location but this was just a bonus for us as it was the staff at riad spice who really made our stay amazing and after only three days they feel like family. We really can't wait to return here and thank you all so much at riad spice... Regards Ber and Pat
