Riad Tawja

We had a very pleasant experience and would recommend this Riad to friends.

Pros: It is walking distance to the Souks and some tourist attractions. It is located on the main road which makes it very accessible for taxis/ tour pick up and drop offs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff are very accommodating, pleasant, and they respond quickly to queries. I also really appreciated that they allowed us to have a late checkout.

Cons: As it is on the main road, you can hear the cars if your room happens to be on the side of the road.

Pros: This is an authentic Riad, well situated in the Medina with a beautiful quiet terrace where our breakfast was served. The staff was very helpful answering our questions as it was our first time in Marrakech and Morocco.

We would be happy to revisit in the future.

Pros: Good location and very pleasant staff. It was comfortable and clean. ( slight problem with a leak under the sink in the en-suite). Attractive rooftop and inner courtyard. Nice breakfast.

Pros: Abdul and the rest of the team were warm, dignified and helpful. The riad is calm and clean, while being located smack in the middle of town, which is chaos (to those not used to it). Breakfast was tasty, plentiful, served with a smile. The communal roof terrace is fun and spacious. Our room was simple (in a good way), clean and comfortable. Its bathroom was a nice size with good plumbing. Some riads offer a street-level central courtyard that can be atmospheric and a feature. This one does not. But this one offers the roof terrace, which meets the same needs well. You get a view onto the Koutoubia and you can hear the goings-on in Jemaa el-Fnaa. Being inside the medina is noisy. What was a positive surprise at this riad is that it was no noisier (actually less noisy) than the other one we stayed at, which was less central, in a more residential part of the medina. I’m lacking photos to upload. The single one I have uploaded doesn’t really do it justice.

Cons: I’m reaching to find something that truly bothered me. At the margin, we lacked horizontal surfaces for clothes. We used the two armchairs instead. It worked.

Pros: Our stay at Riad Tawja Marrakech was excellent. The room was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing delicious, varied, and very complete, with fresh products. The location is also perfect, very close to Jemaa el-Fna square, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Marrakech.

Pros: Everything was perfect, breakfast was very very good. Place is very clean, very friendly staff. Abdel hamid is a very kind, welcoming and friendly he is always smiling and welcomed us with Moroccon tea although we came in very late, thank you abdelhamid and thank you Riad Tawja you made our stay unforgettable we will be definitely be back again and recommend it to friends and family.

Pros: Amazing breakfast on the roof top. Sadly, we went through some rainy days, thus the roof top was not as enjoyable as in sunny days. The staff was kind and available.

Pros: Close to Masjid Koutoubia, lovely room, lovely breakfast.
