A perfect oasis of calm

Pros: What a fabulous place! A little oasis of tranquility right in the heart of the vibrant and chaotic medina. Perfectly located for seeing all this enchanting city has to offer. The courtyard was so peaceful - only the sound of the birds interrupt the silence. The staff at the riad could not have done more for us, they were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond our expectations, collecting our lost wallet from the airport and going to the pharmacy for us when my husband felt unwell. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful place.

Cons: The plumbing was a little smelly, but I suspect this is a general problem in the medina due to old services. It certainly wasn't a cleanliness issue, as the riad was spotlessly clean.

Pros: The staff at Riad Kitula were all amazing - so kind and helpful and available 24 hours a day. The location is great - the front door is on a small alley, but we never felt unsafe. It’s very close to everything in the medina. Thank you especially to Ayub for all his help and welcome!

Pros: Very beautiful riad. The location is very convenient and the service is excellent. We had a welcome drink(a mint tea and a coffee). Staff are always available whenever you need help. We informed them that we had an early schedule and would be leaving at 7 a.m., and they kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for us, including fruit, yogurt, and bread.

Pros: We arrived to a warm welcome from our host who had very calm energy and lead into this oasis in the Medina. We stayed in the junior suite which is even more stunning in person. When leaving one of the staff arranged us a taxi to the airport and ensured we were only charged a set amount by the driver. Highly recommend staying in this riad!

A little gem

Pros: Super friendly staff who were extremely accommodating and helpful. Tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean rooms. A calm oasis in a central position close to many of the popular restaurants and the souks.

Cons: Unfortunately the outdoor heaters didn't work and the courtyard did get quite cold at night/early morning but we did go in December! There was a lovely fire in the lounge which more than compensated.

Beautiful and welcoming Riad

Pros: Beautiful calm oasis in the middle of the busy city. The staff were so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The 3 course dinner we booked on arrival was one of the best tajine and salad we had during our trip. When we had early starts due to day excursions they went out of their way to accommodate early breakfasts for us. The aesthetic of the riad was stunning. I would highly recommend a stay here, we felt well looked after, safe and easy access to most attractions with just a short walk. Thank you Riad Kitula!

Cons: I believe this was unavoidable and comes with staying in a riad in the middle of the medina due to how the buildings link with roof top bars, but some nights the entertainment from other roads could be heard in our room. However, it would normally stop at a reasonable time, and from hearing other people’s experiences from staying in other riads…Kitula is definitely one of the quieter options if you are after a peaceful stay!

Perfect peaceful stay

Pros: Perfect place to stay after being out in busy Marrakesh, so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was great and staff super helpful, even booking and taking us to the taxi. You couldn’t get a better location, all main sights are in walking distance.
