Riad Dar Alif & SPA

First time adventure to Marrakesh and we were very pleased with the level of services with a smile!

Pros: The staff were so friendly. Nothing was a problem and if we had a question they were always there to offer assistance, without being over bearing. Food was very good and they matched in with when we wanted to eat without any issues.

A perfect home away from home for your stay in Marrakech

Pros: The Riad is wonderful, a beautiful place, the rooftop makes it perfect. Khaijda is such a sweet host, and helped us with all our questions. She’s also a amazing chef, the dinner and breakfast are delicious. We would really recommend staying here, it made our time in Marrakech even more pleasant.

Pros: The design is good, staff were nice and it was very calm.

Cons: I was welcomed warmly by the staff, and they are super nice, the room is good enough and clean with a reasonable size comparing to the value, the design was cool with faces on the wall haha. I suggest you make it more known in that place and redesign the door and its name because its not quite clear.

Truly magical and would recommend to everyone

Pros: Beautiful riad with a gorgeous bathroom. Khadija kindly upgraded our room and we are so thankful! It was truly magical. The room was big, the beds were really comfortable and the shower was amazing. Also the hospitality was amazing and Khadija and the other crew were super helpful.

Cons: Sometimes the wifi connection was not great. And the room can be cold at night in the winter (but I’ve heard this is in most Riad’s the case)

Beautiful Riad from inside

Pros: Beautiful traditional from inside, staff very friendly, we had a nice chat with them, we were welcomed with nice tea. However, Sound insulation in the rooms were not the best, but probably that is part of an old way of building houses!

Cons: The streets outside and nearby were scary at night, dark, poor lighting, did not feel comfortable with people outside!

Pros: Great location, close to the main square Jemaa Al fnaa and the souk. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place is very clean. The rooftop terrace is a beautiful place to relax.

Cons: There is no parking. You cannot reach the riad by car. Would have been nice to know that in advance. Also, the entrance is very difficult to find.

Nice Riad close to the main attractions but tucked away in a peaceful location

Pros: Very clean and comfortable Riad in a quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Not the easiest place to find - a short walk on foot is required which was fine for us but not ideal for elderly or infirm

Pros: Very accomodating when we were arriving late. Arranged a shuttle for a good price and helped us to the riad. Really helpful before in planning breakfast and other amenities The rooms were really nice and it was quiet Breakfast was nice on the rooftop

Cons: The beds could be comfier but they were still nice and had no problems sleeping The breakfast as good but was hoping for a little more savoury options

Amazing hospitality and great location!

Pros: Such a beautiful riad in the heart of everything! Great location, very very accommodating, super comfortable and lots of amenities. When you first arrive it feels a bit sketchy down the alley but stunning inside and always felt super safe (group of 3 females) We found this is the case with most riads we stayed in!
