Pretty, good value family run dar in a quiet part of the Medina

Pros: The family running this place are lovely - two brothers and a sister. The room and the dar in general was tastefully decorated and the bed comfortable. I slept very well here. Breakfast was full and delicious. It was a bonus to be allowed to use the kitchen for basic things so you feel 'at home'. Youssef was very helpful and kind (and continued to be after I left). It's a good value dar in the a quiet part of the Medina, at the very end of a street.

Cons: Breakfast was served down in the courtyard where it was shady which is cold in winter. The roof terrace gets the sun, but is slightly neglected as a potential space to be used. There could have been better communication from the staff who met me at the taxi, as the dar was a longer walk than I'd anticipated. It's a 10min walk from the nearest place a taxi can get to, and enough of a distance off the main drag that it's a pain to 'pop out'. When you arrive late at night and hungry, this is something you might want to know. Also be sure to book transfer several days in advance. I booked it the day before but they hadn't confirmed and it meant I had to wait a long time and driver didn't communicate that I had to come outside the airport. These are just details that if you know in advance there are no problems. It's generally a lovely place.

Good for a short stay and hopefully better with more amenities

Pros: Property was clean and quiet, staff were very kind. And they were nice enough to let us wash our clothes, there’s also a very nice terrace.

Cons: Some more basic ammenities would’ve been good, including slippers for the bathroom, a bin in the room etc. and we weren’t offered a room cleaning while there.

Pros: Everything was really good. Staff were very welcoming, and the location is excellent. Excellent value for money.

Looks like the photos, friendly staff, clean and good value for money.

Pros: Our plane was delayed by 3 hours but the organised airport transfer was waiting for us as promised, and once in town, Abdulhamid (riad staff) was waiting to walk us to the riad. The riad looks just like the photos, was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching sunset from the roof (though you needed a coat when we were there :) The shared bathrooms were always clean the showers were hot! We like this local area too, with small cafes dotted around for breakfast (if not taken in the riad) and other meals. It was good value and we would stay here again.

Cons: Everything was fine for us.

Pros: First of all the staff is really very, very friendly and helpful and made use feel like family. The where always available even though WhatsApp. The room was nice and the bedrooms clean and good. Al together very nice place and more than good value for your money. We would come back again.

Pros: Es war ein süsses kleines Riad. Sehr schön und liebevoll hergerichtet. Die Besitzer waren super nett. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mitten in der Medina.

Cons: Das einzige was war, dass von aussen nirgends der Name dran stand. Es sah aus, wie eine ganz normale Eingangstüre. War mir erst unsicher, ob ich richtig bin, aber zum Glück kam dann noch eine anderer Gast und hat mir geholfen.

Pros: A recepção com chá maravilhoso do funcionário que eu acho que se chama Braziw. A cama é ótima, o espaço é limpo, temos armário.

Cons: O banheiro é fora do quarto e de uso comum de todos.

Excellent séjour à Dar La famille Marrakech

Pros: La Riad est à proximité de tout et au calme Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de cette famille. La cuisine de Laïla était très bonne, nous recommandons vivement. La Riad etait très propre et les lit confortable. Un grand merci a Youssef, laïla et Abdel

Cons: Difficile à joindre par téléphone

Pros: Quick 5mins walk from the taxi drop-out. It is clean and quiet. Breakfast was yummy.

Nice and comfortable stay in Medina

Pros: Loved the green accent color of the riad - it made the place feel so peaceful. Very pretty!

Cons: The person who was working there was a bit odd (not sure if it’s a mental problem or he was on drugs), but later I saw he kicked the cat to chase it away. I’m absolutely not ok with treating animals like this.
