Riad Rayan

Pros: Location is good. 20 mins walk to main square and 5 mins into the souks. 15 mins to main mosque square where walking tours start. Guy running it is very nice (more french language than English)

Cons: It's not a typical riad with a courtyard and balconies. Rooms are small and breakfast basic

Pros: We had a great time at Riad Rayan! Abdellah was such a kind and welcoming host, he even made us a fresh breakfast to go when we had to leave early for a tour. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to rewind after exploring, highly recommend this place!!

Great road, lovely staff, recommended

Pros: Christine and colleagues were really helpful. Riad was a great place to escape back to after the business of the souks. Lovely rooms and roof terrace

Cons: Only minor point is that our 2 rooms were in different parts of the riad

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in providing activities and helping when I had questions such as booking onward travel and changing money. The decor of the riad is very nice and the location is very central close to the souks

Beautiful Riad in excellent location

Pros: Beautifully decorated room, excellent location and very nice and hospitable manager. We loved our stay at Riad Rayan and look forward to visiting again. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace each morning was delicious and there are many restaurants nearby. We highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

Pros: Breakfasts were great! Excellent coffee, teas, etc. The Proprietor joined us after we ate to answer questions and visit. He also arranged taxis' for us. He was very friendly and helpful. Russell & Lesley Lowe

Cons: My usual: Towels. If I ran a hotel or Riad, I would try to have a commercial washer and dryer to keep a fresh (and LARGE) supply of dry towels.

Perfect

Pros: Everything was perfectly organized and the owners were so dedicated. Due to the cancellation of flight, I had to postpone the date of check in but they managed flexibly and so quick. During the stay, they serve a decent Moroccan breakfast every morning which tastes so good with some cups of traditional coffee( you can ask tea ofc) What’s more, I washed my clothes in the morning and came back to the Riad after wandering Souk to see them hang on the rooftop that the owner took care of. Plus you can ask the owner to book an excursion to go to Sahara(3days). From my experience, it’s much secure than book yourself at the travel agency in Funa market. 日本人の方にもめちゃおすすめですよ^ ^

Really recommend

Pros: Everything was perfect, starting with the location, which is right in the heart of the old city of Medina, and ending with how amazing and helpful the host was. The property was cleaned daily, and the breakfast was nice as well. The beautiful terrace was another highlight—it was absolutely wonderful.

Pros: We loved our stay at Riad Rayan. Rayan was so kind and helpful, ensuring we had a map and understanding of the area before heading out to explore Marrakech. He even helped us with our bags in the rain when we arrived after a late night flight! A great host!

Superb!

Pros: I felt safe with the location of the property (in front of the Royal Palace) with guards everywhere. The cleanliness of the Riad. Abdellah (our host) was very accommodating and to Meryam (housekeeping) , a special thanks for taking care of our needs during our stay, you are a star!

Cons: Maybe add a hair dryer in every room. Had only 1 to be shared by everyone.
