Acceptable for a short stay if you manage your expectations.

Pros: This traditional Moroccan Riad did not quite meet my expectations. Having stayed in several traditional-style Riad before, I had hoped for better facilities in a historic city like Marrakech, but this one fell a little short. Check-in went smoothly. It’s best to call ahead—the hotel will arrange a luggage cart to meet you at the parking area, and the porter expects a tip of around €5. The Raid is tucked away in a small alley, but once you’ve been there, it’s not too hard to find again. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Marrakech’s main square (Jemaa el-Fna) and around 40 minutes to the Majorelle Garden. The staff were friendly, and the front desk offered helpful travel advice. They also kindly stored our luggage for free after checkout.

Cons: The room felt quite dated, and with no window, there was a persistent musty smell. The towels and bedding didn’t feel fully dry, so we ended up using our own towels and sleep sacks. Hot water was limited—enough for one person to shower, but the next would need to wait a while. Breakfast was simple: bread, orange juice, and tea or coffee. Overall, this is a fairly standard traditional Moroccan Riad—nothing particularly outstanding, but acceptable for a short stay if you manage your expectations.

Pros: The location of riad is perfect. Ayoub the menegar was very kind and helpful.

Ayoub the best

Pros: Ayoub was very friendly and kind throughout our stay, and he promptly answered any questions we had throughout the day. The Riad is very welcoming and located in a very quiet and convenient location, just two minutes from the souks. If I returned to Marrakech, I would definitely stay here again.

Good experience for riad, maybe could improve on breakfast variety

Pros: Near main road inside medina, good staff, breakfast was average - only local pancake with coffee and juice. No unpleasant smell in the room or riad so I had a good stay. Riad decoration is fairly beautiful

Cons: Water flow is not good so water doesnt drain well in shower. The shower floor also doesnt look very clean (better to bring slippers). The location is not very reachable if you prefer public transport as it is inside medina and it is fair because I knew this before booking.

Quaint cozy riad inside the Medina

Pros: Charming, quaint, cozy riad, with Moroccan spirit and decor. Good mid-range budget choice. Helpful staff.

Cons: Breakfast advertised for 8:30, but coffee only ready at 8:50. Don't be in a rush... 😉

Great Riad within walking distance to everything.

Pros: Quiet tucked away Riad within walking distance to everything needed. Ayoub was happy to answer any questions and a lovely host.

Pros: The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and the place is really quiet

Cons: Unfortunately we stayed in the room at the ground floor so it’s really humid

Pros: The Riad is fantastic! It’s centrally located, clean rooms, comfy beds and lovely en-suites. The thing that really makes this property is the host- Ayoub! He is just fantastic, he organised trips for us, brought us to the best value currency exchanges, got us best prices on tours, found us when the bus dropped in the wrong location - even showing up with an umbrella because it was raining! Lots of recommendations and just generally a really friendly and reassuring host! He definitely made our trip better! Thank you Ayoub! We will definitely be back!

Pros: The hotel was in a good place. Easy to get to. A warm welcome from the owner who was very nice and helpful.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.
