Riad Dar-K

Riad Dar-K is a stylish, central riad, with lovely design, good food and genuinely warm and attentive hospitality.

Pros: Riad Dar-K is a traditional riad with chic minimal charm. The location is great if you like the hustle and bustle of the Medina but we could walk everywhere within 15-20mins. Internally, we loved the design flare, atmosphere and understated elegance. Bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, with space for hanging clothes and poufs/desk, all carefully styled. We spent time in the courtyards / balconies and enjoyed every moment. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed amazing breakfasts and dinner and everyone was very friendly and always available. Fatima, the owner, was so patient with our ever changing plans and was at hand at all times! Thank you so much, it makes a difference to know that someone is there to help.

Cons: Not much to dislike, rooms are very moody with dimmed lights, so bring a kindle and enjoy the vibes.

Pros: This property is chic minimalist and just beautiful. Neutral colour palette with concrete floors. Gorgeous rooftop tent for breakfast and excellent staff. Loved it!

Cons: Faultless properly.

Paradise within the medina.

Pros: Central location amongst the hustle and bustle of the souks. It was a quiet tranquil paradise within the mayhem. Decor simple and understated but beautiful environment. Fatima, Aziz and Rashida could not do enough for us. Very comfortable bed and great sleep.

Wonderful

Pros: Everything was fabulous Aziz was incredible and made everything perfect, so I would like to thank him very very much.

Cons: If the was anything I felt could be improved was the lighting inside the room, needed more lamps or slightly brighter bulbs. That's it.

Invitation to deconnect in a typical Riad.

Pros: Quiet, relaxing, clean, small enough to be exclusive, local meals prepared by staff, charming.

Riad Dar K gave me a much needed rest. I had a wonderful time. Aziz was attentive with our needs and so did Fatima reply

Pros: The riad was a calming sanctuary. It was a much needed break for me. I absolutely love the bed. I had great nights sleeping there.

Cons: I just wished the room had a bidet in the bathroom. As I am from Malaysia and travelling to another muslim country I thought it would be normal to have a bidet in the bathroom. But I have nothing to complain honestly.

Perfect Stay

Pros: Truly excellent stay at Riad Dar-K - an oasis in the middle of the bustling city. Riad itself was very tastefully decorated and room had everything we needed. It is also walkable to pretty much everything - we enjoyed nipping back to the Riad for a quick break before doing some more haggling in the Souks. Staff were incredibly helpful - from arranging taxis, making an exception and allowing us to have an earlier breakfast as we needed to leave early to cooking a delicious meal for us to have on the rooftop on our first night. Can't recommend this place enough.

Cons: Nothing!

Lovely staff, authentic hotel

Pros: Staff were amazing and in particular Aziz helped us out a lot. He would walk us from the taxi drop off (about 7mins from the Riad) to the Riad when we would return late at night. Rooms were extremely comfortable and breakfast on the terrace was beautiful.

Cons: On arrival we were not aware that the taxi could not drop off outside the Riad. So we had to walk with suitcases and it was late. I would recommend that the transport is booked directly with the hotel so that someone is available to help with the luggage.

Amazing experience

Pros: Great location, everything super clean and the Riad was very beautiful. Fatima was amazing, offering a lot of help and very kind with us. Breakfast was super good as well. We would repeat without any doubt!
