Riad Mazaj

Pros: It was clean and lovely. Tea and sweets upon arrival which was needed after a long flight. Customer service was exceptional. If I come back I would book here again. The staff were attentive and amazing.

Pros: The Riad Mazaj has been a pleasant surprise. At first, we were kinda scared of the small door, almost impossible to find. But when that door opened, we entered a magical place full of Moroccan vibes, subtle light and a comfortable room and nice personnel. The breakfast was really enjoyable and in Moroccan style. The room had a lot of space and all the comforts we needed.

Cons: Better if you take the shower early at night (at least in the winter) as sometimes the water was just a little cold after 21:00.

Great staff, nice riad, amazing location

Pros: Rasheed, Abdel and the cook-caretaker lady (apologies for not knowing the name) are among the nicest people we've met anywhere in the world during our travels. They gave us an upgrade to a bigger room, prepared breakfast for us before the usual breakfast time and allowed us to have a late check out, and all of that with plenty of smiles and kindness. We are impressed and would like to thank them all for making our visit to Morocco such a wonderful experience! Thanks! As for the Riad Mazaj, the place has a great location, fine rooftop terrace and well-decorated rooms.

Cons: Even though it is stated on Booking, double beds in this riad are way too narrow for two adults (between 130-150 cm). Also, we had several temporary issues with the lack of hot water, which were fixed shortly.

Would definitely go back

Pros: Great location, a few minutes from the main square. Riad staff were all very helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. You could hear the music from the jazz club next door on the terrace and in our room until 11 pm every night, but if you like jazz then it won’t bother you. Good breakfast served on the terrace, mint tea and biscuits brought to us in the afternoons was much appreciated.

A Lovely Stay in the Heart of Marrakech

Pros: We booked 3 nights at Riad Mazaj, we loved the room, the checkin was smooth and the staff were welcoming, we had an amazing breakfast that we enjoyed a lot! The Riad is in a very nice area and very close to Jema Fanaa and 2 mins from Hay Zatoun!

Cons: Maybe one comment that the breakfast was repetitive everyday, if someone staying for long might get bored!

Great stay in the heart of the medina

Pros: Great location close to the sights & the main square. Staff are super friendly , many thanks to Raschid, Abdell & Islen for looking after us, telling us where the sights to see were. Booking trips for us & arranging the pick up. A safe place to stay, with caring people who genuinely want you to have the best time.. Rooms comfortable with air con & unsuite.Breakfast plentiful.

Cons: Only negative was the fact that I had booked the single rooms which are very compact, but that is what I had paid for, and the riad was full. Jazz club next door noisy but you get used to it& everything stops at 11pm then very quiet. Finding the riad on first day, we were lucky that I had read the reviews prior to going and the manager sent someone to meet us, once you get your bearings it's no problem

Pros: Great location, great breakfast, clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Water pressure in the sink tap could be better (shower pressure was perfect)

Nice and pleasant stay in a tidy room chilled with AC in a nice area near the main square

Pros: This is a great riad in a great spot 5 minutes walk from the main square. Area is quiet and peaceful with a restaurants near by. When we arrived we were greeted with tea and a chat from the host. He showed us a room and took our luggage. The room itself was tidy and clean and so was the bathroom. AC in the room worked great and we had a great time. We didnt have time in the morning to have breakfast but they still offered us to make it earlier than usual.

Pros: The best place to stay in Marrakesh. Perfect location. Clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful, friendly and helpful host. Couldn't find a better place to stay in Marrakesh.
