Great value stay.
Pros: Location was just 5mins walk to the Square and easy to find. Staff were great, making breakfast one morning allowing us to eat before a long day trip. Excellent & many thanks. Rooms very comfortable and super clean.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The Riad le J is a tiny and beautiful riad. Silence dominates in the night. Bed was very confortable.
Cons: the room could be much cleaner at our arrival and a boiler for the pr coffee in the room would be appreciated. In the morning, cleaning staff it’s a bit noisy. However, the guy that was there for hep us was great!

Nice riad in the medina
Pros: Beautifully designed riad. Stylish furniture and decor throughout. Nice breakfast. Convenient location for the medina.
Cons: Beds not super clean. Bedding ok, but pillows and mattresses not as clean as they should be. The approach to the riad is very off putting. The alleys around are full of rubble and poorly lit. The room we had was impossible to ventilate with air from outside without opening doors and windows to the corridor leading to neighbouring rooms. We didn’t feel safe leaving these open at night. The air conditioning was too noisy to use at night.

Attractive riad, centrally located but not easy to find.
Pros: Our room at Riad le J was large and comfortable and the rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot for relaxing and watching the sunset. Breakfast was plentiful although there there didn't seem to be much choice. The Riad is right in the heart of the medina, so close to a lot of the main attractions and good places to eat. It was beautifully furnished in quite a formal style, always a surprise to find such places down twisty alleys.
Cons: We were travelling from Essaouira by bus and I contacted the Riad in good time to ask if someone could meet us from the bus station. Unfortunately they were not able to help and just sent google map directions which would have been completely useless as it was down some very narrow, dark and twisty alleys in the medina. We ended up paying about Eu17 for a guide, a wheelbarrow carrier and the craziest tuk tuk drive ever, through those narrow streets and alleys - an experience definitely, but I would have appreciated a bit more help from the Riad.

I really recomend it!
Pros: The Riad is nice and very cozy. Heach room has a bathroom. The staff is very kind and respectful. There is a delicious breakfast every morning. There was no hot water during two days but it was not really important for us. The riad is in the middle of the medina but dofficult to find. Make sure you arrange a transfer with them so a person can take you to the riad the first day. I really recomend it!
