Best ever place to stay

Pros: The staff went out of their way to be friendly and supportive. Incredible hospitality and superb breakfasts.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing to dislike

Loved the place and the people, helpful, friendly and kind.

Pros: Amazing breakfast! Never managed to finish it, and always lovely cakes too.

Cons: Could be cold when we arrived, but we did go in January. Room warmed up though, and we had warm sunny days.

Excellent place, excellent service

Pros: Very friendly staff (Mash is an extraordinary person), good location (in a quiet area, close to both main objectives in Medina and to the outer walls), nice clean rooms, good home-cooked food (on demand).

Cons: The rooms are smaller than the photos suggest (not a problem, just a heads up). Other than that, nothing wrong with this place! We would return here anytime!

Great Riad in a nice location!

Pros: Staff were very helpful at all times and accomodated early breakfast, before one of our tours. Toilet was spacious and room comfortable. The Riad location is very good, basically you can walk to the main places to visit in Marrakech.

Pros: The staff was amazing! Best hospitality in the whole of Morroco

Lovely place,lovely people, lovely food

Pros: It was in a good location, we found it very easy to find places of interest and general walking. We travel a lot but have never felt more welcomed and at home with the friendly staff at the Riad. Mach and Omar were lovely and the food cooked by Amina was absolutely delicious,we did eat out a couple of times but it wasn’t as good as Amina’s cooking. It was very clean and if you have an early trip,they are very accommodating with the breakfast time. We loved this Riad and would definitely recommend it

Cons: It was a surprise to find the toilet in the shower cubicle,but it really wasn’t a problem.

A wonderful experience

Pros: We spent a few wonderful days in this riad. The staff were very kind and helpful, offering us plenty of tips and recommendations. The room was beautiful, decorated in a traditional style. The bed was extremely comfortable. The riad is located close to wider streets where buses and taxis operate. In about 20 minutes, you can reach Jemaa el-Fna Square while exploring the alleys filled with traditional products and souvenirs. The breakfast wasn’t extremely varied, but it was delicious (I particularly enjoyed the mint yogurt and the msemmen).

Cons: Even though the air conditioning was on, the room didn’t get very warm. But it was ok. At breakfast, I would have liked a greater variety of savory options.

Warm, hospitable, welcoming all set in a beautiful riad and roof top hammam - awesome!

Pros: The team at Riad de la Porte make you feel so very welcome and they literally cannot do enough for you. We spent 2 nights there at the start of our trip and just had to go back at the end. Truly home from home - absolutely fabulous.

Perfect

Pros: We haven't a single complaint about this Riad. It was perfect from start to finish. We were warmly greeted on arrival and given some tea and biscuits, and Omar sat down with us and talked us through everything we needed to know and gave us a map and some great advice for visiting the city. The room was stunningly decorated, clean, and there was no noise at night either which was nice. We ate in the Riad on one night and it was by far the best meal we had during our time in Morocco, so fresh and huge! The hammam was also incredible, so relaxing! We were warmly greeted back every time we arrived back by Mach and the whole team (thank you all), who were all so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we ever returned.
