Outsite Marrakesh

Little gem in a great location

Pros: Really good location, very welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely with many options. Rooms very comfortable as was the bed, plenty of sockets. We were also able to leave our luggage in the office after checkout until our bus arrived which was so useful.

Cons: It took about 5 minutes for the hot water to come out of the shower, although my friend in another room didn't have this problem. And you could hear others moving about, talking etc as the walls are thin but nothing that ear plugs didn't stop.

Pros: What a beautiful riad and phenomenally located. The breakfast was delicious and the laundry room at the charming rooftop terrace was life-saving.

Pros: This is a beautiful riad with bigger than average rooms and lots of communal spaces. The location is excellent too and very quiet.

Cons: As with many riads, there are a few maintenance issues. The plumbing can often be a bit challenging and my shower head flew out of it's holder once when the water pressure changed and drenched the bathroom floor! The linen could do with updating too and while laundered, there were a couple of stains on my duvet cover. Super comfy bed though.

Good

Pros: Being in a center location, easy to get around. Liked the architecture of the building and the staff is welcoming.

Cons: Would have liked more salty options on the breakfast menu and room’s bin to be cleared every other day.

Pros: The location is amazing perfectly in the Medina and yet really quiet. The rooms are small but cosy (probably normal for every riad). The rooftop is really nice as well as the food. It gets cold at night in winter but the covers are nice warm and thick!

Pros: Outsite Marrakesh was beautiful with great friendly staff. Such a selection of food for breakfast with kind helpful staff. I was without a moroccan charger and they kept allowing me to use theirs plus free transport when i was in need. Thank you to Zak and the other receptionist such kind welcoming staff at outsite marrakesh. I love morocco.

Great location, comfy room, handy amenities, minor maintenance and timing issues

Pros: The hotel is located in the heart of the medina, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the city. The room was comfortable and decently spacious, we had enough space to store our bags and still get around comfortably. The room had a good size desk with a very comfortable desk chair, which we didn't really use, but was a nice touch. We really appreciated the washers and dryers that were free to use, and the pool in the courtyard was also a fun extra amenity. Breakfast was generous and tasty, but not hugely varied.

Cons: The bathroom was a little rickety, the shower head kept falling of the hook and there was a bit of a leak in the ceiling. Of course, as listed, they only really offer limited cleaning during longer stays and do not clean rooms during shorter stays. In general this wasn't an issue, but the room only has a really tiny trash can, which was overflowing a bit by the end of our 4-day stay. It might be nice if trash could be picked up every now and then, even during shorter stays, or if there was a clearly designated area for us to deposit some of our trash throughout our stay. Breakfast times were a bit confusing. They list their breakfast as being from 8-10, in reality it wasn't served until 8:30, if that. For us this wasn't really an issue, I can imagine it may be for some if they have an earlier departure. It was also sometimes a bit difficult to get a hold of staff to clarify things.

Pros: Right in the heart of the Medina. Very close to museums and garden in Marrakech.

Cons: Just hard to find at first because not too many signs and I had to wait for 20 minutes outside before I could even go and check-in.

Worth staying

Pros: It’s really well located, very clean and the staff was amazing and supper helpfull

Cons: The internet was really good in the common areas but there was no signal in the room, seems like the receiver closer to the room was faulty

Good hotel, highly recommended

Pros: The location is very good. It is inside of the old city with walking distance to attractions. The staff is very friendly. There is breakfast provided, which is reasonably good. There are kitchen facilities, which can be used to cook own food.

Cons: The room facilities need more maintenance. Basin tap and shower head need to be fixed. There is a supermarket, which is little far, 21 minutes by walking.
