DAR CHIBANIA

Pros: The overall vibe is amazing - peaceful and magical. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. Didn't want to leave! Location is also great for hauling luggage as you are very close to the city gate.

Cons: Hardly anything. The breakfast was lovely and traditional but we would have liked some more protein and fibre.

Brilliant, idiosyncratic and comfortable.

Pros: Idiosyncratic. Nooks and cranies everywhere. A spacious, excellent room.

Cons: The shower! A trickle! No door. When using the lower nozzle it could easily overshoot: wetted my clothes and towel. I appreciate Marrakesh is ‘old’ and water deprived, but there was a combi heater in the bathroom, which usually equates with good power.

Relaxed but lux. Comfortable but special.

Pros: One of those amazingly special places that you straight away feel relaxed in. The staff are gloriously kind and helpful, room wonderful and food excellent. We stayed in a suite as family four and there was ample room. Beautiful rooftop garden and equally relaxing multiple seating areas indoors. Perfect location to explore the medina then escape the madness for the calm in this Riad.

Lovely Stay

Pros: Charming Riad at a not so touristic part of the Medina, more where the locals live. Beautiful decor with many interesting and cozy areas.Books,art pieces, fireplace, board games… Every little corner is enchanted and welcoming. The suite was really comfortable and well decorated. We had four fantastic nights in a really god bed. That is very important to me. Comfortable bed. Quiet nights. Peaceful and safe area. The super friendly staff was always ready to help making you feel at home. I will definitely stay again at Dar CHIBANIA. Lovely stay.

Cons: Location. For me was okay but for my boyfriend that doesn’t like to walk for so long and like to be close to the main attractions and restaurants , the location is not ideal. More than 30 minutes walk. But easily you can get a cab really close to the entry of the Medina.

A luxurious tranquil retreat with wonderful homely service and a very welcoming engaging owner.

Pros: Great location. We really enjoyed the area which felt very authentic. The property was gorgeous. A tranquil haven with wonderful areas to relax & enjoy. All the staff were so quietly attentive and very welcoming .

Cons: Nothing. We loved it!

A charming riad with bags of character! Strongly recommended!

Pros: The property is magical! So many quiet corners to chill out, the decor is wonderful and the heated pool in a beautiful shady courtyard is a fabulous place to swim and unwind! The staff treated us like royalty. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is large and delicious. We really enjoyed the home made yogurt and the different types of breads and pancakes! The quality of the linens are exceptional. The bath towels are so thick and fluffy. They also provided us with robes. Taxis and tuk tuks to get out and about were easy to find and not expensive.

Cons: Nothing!

amazing riad with lovely staff.

Pros: the whole place was magical. the staff were lovely and spoke english. the pool was large compared to other places we saw, and we had it to ourselves. the decor was amazing. the location, well, we had to walk around 15 minutes to get to any good restuarants or the markets. this was the only down side to the whole experience, especially because we were there when it was 45 degrees outside.

Cons: just the location in relation to the very touristy area. we were in a local area, with not many other tourists around.

Stunning Riad - a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Pros: A truly beautiful Riad, away from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakech streets. This place is a stunning oasis with cosy areas to curl up with a book and well porportioned suites. The small pool is excellent for a refreshing dip and the breakfast was very satisfying. A wonderful introduction to Morroco for our family. Mr partner also had an excellent massage whilst we were there.

Cons: The beds are very firm, but after stopping at a few other places I just think thats how beds are here!

Just magical!

Pros: An amazing property! Authentic and tranquil. A haven that awaits you amongst the business of the city! The staff are so friendly and attentive.

Hidden gem in the Medina

Pros: Amazing and expansive riad in the medina. The place feels like you have stepped into a palace in a time warp. Very helpful staff, nice quiet location, very relaxing. Lots of hidden rooms and spaces to find some privacy.
