Riad Smara

Lovely place to stay, close to main area.

Pros: Great location on the edge of the medina 15 mins walk to jemaa el fna. Comfortable old style riad, lovely breakfast, helpful staff.

Cons: Room a little dark but not really a problem.

Lovely staff, lovely property and lovely food! Zachariah was very happy to answer all our questions, the food was wonder

Pros: The property is a little haven from the bustling streets of Marrakech! It’s very quiet and peaceful which was a welcome relief after spending the day looking around the souks. The property is beautifully decorated and the rooftop is also very relaxing.

Cons: Just be aware, the property is a little hard to find as the taxi can’t drop you off outside so make sure you have access to google maps which can show you where to walk.

Very enjoyable- I would highly recommend and come back again.

Pros: Quiet ,clean, tranquil, attractively decorated, lovely rooms. Zakariah the host was warm, friendly and helpful. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival which was very welcoming.

Cons: The property was lovely but I would have liked eggs with breakfast.

10/10 best stay ever

Great location, cozy atmosphere

Pros: My friend and me loved the riad and all the people working there. It was so pretty and cozy and it was great to relax on the rooftop in the sun and drink some tea. The location was also great since you are right in the old town and can walk right to the streets to shop or visit a hammam. Our room at the ground floor was really comfortable and clean. We also looked forward to the tasty breakfast every morning! Thanks to everyone from the Riad for an amazing stay. I will definitely come back when I'm in marrakesh again. Already miss it 😊

Pros: Super friendly and helpful hosts, perfect location inside the Medina and amazing breakfast. Rooftop terrace was also a huge bonus.

VALUE FOR MONEY

Pros: The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. We were greeted with a warm cup of mint tea. Breakfast was the most surprising and satisfying thing about the place, with variety each day and freshly squeezed orange juice. The staff was always around and very helpful. The courtyard was beautiful as well. The location was very central, everything being a short walk away

Cons: The lights in the room could have been brighter and the water leaves a strong smell in the bathroom, however I don’t think that can be controlled by the staff

Exceptional stay!

Pros: We had a wonderful experience at Riad Smara. The hospitality was exceptional and the Riad was very well maintained, clean and peaceful. A wonderful breakfast to prepare you for the day!

Cons: It can be a little difficult to locate on arrival (entrance is in a little side street).

Wonderful stay with helpful staff and great facilities

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable, cleaned to a perfect standard. Loved that there was a roof terrace with loungers to chill, as well as a sofa on the landing (Wi-Fi was not available in the room itself)

Cons: Unfortunately there were works outside which continued long into the night - not the lodger's fault obviously though! Wi-Fi didn't reach the room itself which seemed a minor inconvenience but maybe a blessing in disguise!

Pros: The night shift guy i think he's new working there was super sweet and helpful i forgot his name. He helped us at night to bring our bags down as we had a flight to catch. The rooms were nice clean n beautiful but only thing is the location.

Cons: Location was hard to find !
