Feel at home at the heart of Marrakesh!

Pros: The Riad is small and cozy, it has just 5 rooms. It is very well located in a local neighbourhood near the Jamma el Fna square. It is fully renewed, well isolated from the noise, extremely clean and cutely decorated. You can have homemade traditional food in there, not only breakfast but lunch or dinner if you do your reservation in advance. There is good wifi connection. All the staff is very kind, speally Abdou who helped us with everything we needed and more. He asked us for taxis, gave indications and showed us around! Thanks for everything! You made our stay very nice!

Cons: It was a bit cold in the common spaces (we had cold rainy days in the city) but we had hot air conditioned and a radiator in the room.

Recommend this place for the good location, comfy room and lovely staff.

Pros: Lovely staff who were extremely helpful, the dogs and cats were an added bonus, nice breakfast every day, easy walk to the souks and square.

Cons: Chilly at night (we were there in December and January), despite the extra blanket. Recommend taking warm nightwear so that you stay nice and snug.

Pros: Choosing this riad was an excellent choice. The location is excellent, just 10 minutes from the main Jemaa el-Fna square, yet it's tucked away, so once you leave the main road and enter the street next to the riad, it's completely quiet. An added bonus is that along the way to most attractions, there's a place serving excellent street food, which you can grab on the way to or from the riad. The service was excellent and very helpful; Abdul was available to answer any questions about the city, attractions, or even a delicious mint tea. In short, a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back and recommend it.

Pros: Absolute joy to stay at the riad. Fantastic communication and assistance from the staff. Great location, you can walk anywhere, and great breakfast.

Pros: Absolutely loved my stay at Dar Mar'Ouka from August 1st to 6th! The riad's charm, beautiful decor, and tranquil atmosphere made it the perfect retreat. But what truly made my stay special was the exceptional service from Abdul. He was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. His knowledge of Marrakech and its Medina was invaluable, and his warm personality made me feel like I was staying with friends. Highly recommend Dar Mar'Ouka and Abdul's expert guidance to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Marrakech! 10/10 would stay again 😊🏠

Wonderful Stay Overshadowed by Checkout Issue

Pros: We had a wonderful experience during our stay! A special thanks to Abdul and the owner for their warm hospitality, they went out of their way to accommodate us, even providing a room despite a booking error, which we truly appreciate. The place felt like home, and the adorable cats added an extra dose of joy, especially for my son, who absolutely loved their company. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay!

Cons: Our overall stay was smooth and comfortable, and we truly appreciated the hospitality during our time there. However, the checkout experience left us disappointed. A lady staff member (I believe her name was Husna) displayed unprofessional behaviour by unnecessarily suspecting us of taking away towels. Despite fully cooperating and allowing our bags to be checked, the situation cost us precious time and spoiled our mood for the day, causing us to miss a few planned spots. I sincerely request the management to address such issues with patience and ensure that all necessary items are verified at the time of check-in to avoid such misunderstandings. It would save guests from facing such uncomfortable moments at checkout and ensure a pleasant experience throughout.

A magical and memorable stay.

Pros: We were welcomed by Amine into the Riyad and he was so kind and caring. He took really good care of us and made sure we were okay. Breakfast was always amazing and tasty. We tried so many fresh fruit and an assortment of sweets. The location of the Riyad is great as everything is near you. The souks are just 5 - 10 mins walk. Amine was the person who made our stay at the Riyad the best. He is such a lovely person and would always make Moroccan tea for us when we came back after our excursions. He made sure we were ready for our excursions, packing us some food, making sure the driver comes, making sure we were on time and safe. Amine truly looked after us and I couldn't have asked for better. Amine was the angel who made us feel part of Morocco.
