A serene base in the Medina

Pros: Great location with warm, welcoming staff - Farouk and the whole team were super professional, accommodating and helpful throughout to make our stay as lovely as possible. The property/room was clean and very well maintained. Many lovely areas and spots to sit and relax in. The Riad felt very safe and like a home away from home. The little birds in the courtyard trees provided many charming concerts.

Cons: Didn't love the breakfast but there was nothing wrong, just wasn't to our personal preferences and tastes. They went all out and it was presented beautifully.

Pros: The staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Relatively easy to find and to navigate your way back to.

Cons: It was December so naturally it was chilly. Some form of extra warmth - even just a hot water bottle - would have been welcome.

Pros: The team of Farouk and Hanane are great hosts. We enjoyed their hospitaliy very much. The breakfast was also very nice.

Pros: The staff was excellent! Nice breakfast, the room was cosy and warm, yet quite small (as often in riads I suppose). Everything was as shown in the pictures. Note that during winter it gets quite cold in the beautiful common spaces.

Pros: It was amazing experience -not only the property was very good and clean but also the staff were amazing. We had small inconvenience with additional external services we booked and the riad made us forget about the bad experience with caring about us!

Pros: Staff were so helpful and friendly. Always felt safe and looked after with them. The location is excellent, even for a solo female traveller. Breakfast was delicious. My room was very clean. Hot water in the bathroom. Water provided. Rooftop terrace is fabulous and comfortable. Highly recommend Riad Alma.
