RIAD Dar ZOMOROD

A good option for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Marrakech and don’t mind walking a bit to reach the hotel.

Pros: The hotel is located right in the city center, and everything is within walking distance, which is very convenient. The room was very clean, and the bed, pillows, and mattress were comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. I would also like to especially mention Yassin, who was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons: The hotel is best suited for travelers with light luggage. Reaching it with a large suitcase can be uncomfortable because you have to walk quite a long distance through narrow streets where cars cannot access this part of the city. Also, in the bathroom there were two spots on the ceiling where the plaster was peeling off due to humidity.

Pros: The bed was comfortable. The location is great. The building is amazing. The room was great. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were nice, helpful.

Pros: Perfect location, very clean, great breakfast and friendly staff. Quiet at night even though it is very centrally located.

Pros: Amazing accomodation. Great location, all clean and working great. Very tasty and rich breakfast. The stuff is extremely kind, always helps and invited us for tea with biscuits and talk. I definately recommend this accomodation.

Very traditional and clean riad within the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with very friendly staff.

Pros: The riad was beautiful. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Everyone was friendly and helpful, always enquiring about your wellbeing.

Cons: The mattress was hard, which is not uncommon in Morocco, but a topper would help soften its feel. The air conditioner didn’t work for about half the time but every effort was made to find an A/C mechanic to fix it, which brought great relief and helped with sleeping.

Pros: Everything about road dar zomorod is outstanding - staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast each morning was very generous, homemade and delicious. The room was just what we needed, comfortable and well equipped. Aircon worked very well and was definitely appreciated, even though we visited after peak summer. The location is brilliant, just a few steps from the main square and not difficult to find - we used booking.coms map function to pinpoint the location then pinned the spot on Google maps for directions. Thanks to all the staff at Zomorod, we will be back!

Lovely

Pros: The accommodation is well placed and easily accessible. Everything is authentic. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken-care-of. Beds are comfortable, the terrace is cosy, breakfast is varied and tasty. The owner cooked an incredibly delicious and abundant dinner for us. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Pros: The Riad itself is amazing and beautiful. The staff are really friendly and there to help you out. The ambient is giving Morrocan vibes and is basically right next to the jemaa al-fna.

Pros: The staff, and especially Abdula, went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. We felt truly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The breakfast was exceptional as well.

Cons: The only small detail I would personally add, is to have some (more) protein at the breakfast, like ham, sausage, egg etc.

A real gem!

Pros: It had a magnificent smell of orange blossom, the room was perfect and the terrace was magnificent. But what was more significant, was the people working in it. In a perfect location super close to the market. Mohammed Ess is the most welcoming and awesome host. Always helpful and with a smile. The other Mohammed (there are 2) was just as great, and very helpful and informative. All the other staff members were equally awesome. The riad alone, and the people of it, made our vacation unforgettable! 10/10 recommended
