Pros: The Riad is beautiful inside. Once you enter you feel like you are in a calm, quiet, peaceful bubble. It is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The staff are very friendly, helpful and made our stay very easy and enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms are cleaned every day and they were absolutely spotless. We had a lovely Moroccan breakfast brought to us on the roof terrace every morning which we really enjoyed. The location is fantastic walking distance to everything. I could not fault Riad Dar Bayane I am so glad we chose to stay here whilst we were in Marrakesh and would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Dar Bayane. The Riad is exceptionally clean and the staff are lovely. Cant say enough about our host Moustapha, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The location is ideal in the sense that it is very central to the Medina. However there is no access by car and it is appx a 10 minute walk through the square and less than desirable alleyways. It is worth it once you enter the beautiful Riad.

Great base in nice part of the medina

Pros: Attractive, modern Riad in the mellah part of the medina which we didn’t know but really liked - quick access to square, good shopping, superb food (esp canteen gazelles & la famille) and glorious massage (asphais spa). Alley entrance is lit at night so felt totally safe. Moustapha was an excellent host and good communicator- organised transfer from bus on arrival and to airport on departure (strongly recommend) and kindly let us store our luggage. Rooms not huge but bed comfy and shower hot. Nice freshly made breakfast & charming service from all. Great for short stay.

Cons: Can hear noise from other guests and locals in the street but after 11pm was pretty quiet.

Great Riad (with Gluten Free Options)

Pros: Fantastic Riad at the centre of Marrakesh. Moustapha was fantastic, organised everything from transfers, experiences and even gluten free breakfasts for my partner. Room spotless and a quiet space away from the busy streets.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Excellent break to a very interesting city

Pros: A beautifully appointed riad in the heart of the old town with excellent staff.

Crazy few days in the medina

Pros: The location waa excellent , the alley to it was a little daunting at first but then you realise its very safe all everyone speaks, The staff were excellent so friendly .

Beautiful

Pros: Beautiful property in the perfect location. The rooms were excellently decorated and facilities were beyond what was expected. My husband has coeliac disease and breakfast was catered to his requirements every morning without needing to be reminded. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and Moustapha was extremely helpful throughout.

Cons: The bed was very firm which we struggled to get comfy on but that was only to our preference.

We loved Marrakech and will be back soon!

Pros: Moustapha was a wonderful host to us! We had such an enjoyable stay and all the staff were exceptionally generous and kind. We felt very looked after from start to finish.

Cons: It’s a little hard to find if you don’t know where it is but the location is amazing, you’re close to all the best streets for shopping in the Souks.

Peaceful, clean stay with friendly, kind staff, and a delicious breakfast - a solo traveler's dream!

Pros: Mustafa, the owner, went above and beyond in helping me during my stay. As a first time solo, female traveller to Morocco, I was a little nervous. I was able to organize private transportation + porter from the airport through the riad and everyone involved was friendly, patient and communicative. Mustafa even helped me transfer my bags and myself to my next accommodation which I was extremely thankful for. The room was clean, beautiful, and peaceful. The breakfast served on the sunny rooftop was varied, delicious, and filling. I would stay here in a heartbeat again if I ever find myself in Marrakesh.
