Riad Rumi Marrakech Medina

Exceptional, relaxing & truly memorable.

Pros: We (4 sisters) had the best experience at Riad Rumi. Our room was spacious, peaceful and beautifully decorated, as was the entire Riad, it was so bright & colourful. The beds were very comfortable. We arrived late & were met at our airport transfer spot, then brought a short distance to the Riad (it was in a great location for the Medina, main square & souks). The staff were all unbelievably accommodating & welcoming, a 3 course meal at our 9pm arrival was not too much for them. The breakfast on the roof terrace was delicious & super fresh. We booked a walking tour & cooking class with Riad Rumi and both activities were brilliant. On the morning of our return/5am, we were offered a takeaway breakfast for the airport & escorted to the taxi pick up point. Special THANKS to Noor & Mohammed of Riad Rumi for their exceptional hosting ❤️. We had no hesitation in recommending Riad Rumi & Marrakesh and hope to visit both again one day.

Cons: I would have liked chairs at the dining table instead of a sofa More cafe style table and chairs would be nice and more comfortable it’s to low to eat off .

Pros: Perfect location and easy accessibility to square, souks and restaurants. Interiors modern, colourful and comfortable. Noor the Manager was extremely helpful and knowledgeable - couldn’t have been better, truly 10/10.

Pros: The property was in a fabulous location, extremely close to the main square and all that Marrakesh has to offer. The Riad was decorated to an exceptionally high standard offering comfort and cleanliness in a calming environment.

Pros: Everything. The staff were extremely friendly, patient, and helpful. The rooms were very tidy, spacious, and they even surprised us with a really pretty flower petal setup and heart shaped towels on arrival. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Less than 2 minutes walk away from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Upon arrival we were apprehensive about the streets and safety, but after one day there you quickly realise the streets are extremely safe and you don’t have to worry about walking around at night.

Cons: Nothing.

Four days in Marrakech

Pros: Riad Rumi runs by exceptional staff, professional, friendly and resourceful. They helped us from the very arrival to Marrakech till the very end. The Riad has superb location, and in fact is close to everything one may need during the stay in Marrakech. On arrival, Noor offered us a bigger room, received us at the garage and help with the accomodation. The building is almost new, clean and gives a sense of like being at home. Both, my wife and myself really enjoyed stay in Riad Rumi. If any opportunity, we would certinaly return.

Cons: Nothing that we would not like.

Oasis of calm in central Marrakesh Medina

Pros: Beautiful newly refurbished authentic Riad. Lovely staff who really looked after us. The rooms are lovely and it is an oasis of calm a very short distance from the main square. The food was freshly cooked and service was excellent on the roof terrace with a huge breakfast and lovely dinner.

Cons: It was perfect for us. If you had mobility issues I would head somewhere with easier access. Walking was very busy and bustling which was authentic and fun but may not suit everyone.
