Riad Dar Oulhoum

Pros: We liked the abience, the traditional, elegant style , the rooftop terrace and our freshly prepared breakfast. We also really enjoyed the host, Bruno's hospitality and chat. He was always keen to ensure we had the best stay we could. Jemmad was exceptionally helpful getting us orientated and organising trips when we asked for guidance. We will recommend this property to friends and family.

Sumptuous accommodation

Pros: Bruno, Guy, Jawad and Dris, will make you feel cosseted. A great place to stay if this is your first experience in Marrakech and also if you appreciate intricate architectural details and a mix of artefacts from exotic parts of the globe. You will be in the very safest of hands and enjoy roof top breakfasts.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Take ear plugs if you don’t wish to be woken by early morning prayers which blurts out of city wide speakers.

Pros: Bruno and Guy are exceptional hosts, present, helpful, discreet, jovial. Their team also offer excellent service with big smiles. The riad is in a quite corner of the medina and the room was dark and quiet, which made for great sleep (of course you can hear the call to prayer, but that's true everywhere in the city). Slightly off the beaten path but still well-located, so easy to walk everywhere. The riad is beautifully decorated with local art and furniture, and has a wonderful rooftop terracce. There were also small touches like local soap and scrubing glove, to try out local products. Nice breakfast that changed a bit every day.

Best bit of our holiday

Pros: We stayed four nights in this beautiful Riad. It was the highlight of our trip. Place looks so much better in reality than in photographs. Staff all amazing- can’t do enough for you. Breakfasts were fabulous. Enjoyed dinner there too one evening and that was superb. It’s a little tricky to find as there are many unnamed alleys, so definitely ask the Riad to book a taxi for you and then they meet you.

Pros: We loved everything about the riad. Our room was very comfortable with good air conditioning. Impeccably clean with a luxurious feel. Breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace,it really set us up for the day. Everyone was very helpful and informative.

Pros: Le Riad est très confortable, calme et propre. Il est bien situé dans la Medina. Ne pas hésiter à demander conseil aux propriétaires qui connaissent très bien les lieux et les bonnes adresses. Nous recommandons ce riad sans hésiter.

Un séjour inoubliable dans un riad authentique, porté par un accueil chaleureux et un service attentionné.

Pros: Décoration authentique, propriétaires très accueillants et personnel aux petits soins. Petit-déjeuner exemplaire.

Cons: Séjour sans fausse note, du début à la fin.

Pros: Der Gastgeber Bruno und sein Team sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und variierte jeden Morgen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Cons: Es war alles zur Zufriedenheit.

Our stay was amazing. It was one of my favorite trips.

Pros: Staying at this Riad was like staying in your favorite uncles’ house. The property owners live in the riad and they make sure every detail is taken care of. They are really lovely people, and the staff is top notch. Everyone is really kind and lovely and we could not have asked for anything more.

Cons: Nothing. Every single thing was amazing. I would highly recommend paying for the airport transportation. The riad is very central and right by the Medina, but there are many alleyways and even with Google maps, it is difficult to find, especially if you arrive at night.
