Value for money in Marrakech

Pros: Good breakfast. Convenient location. Good value for money.

Cons: Some of the electrical plug sockets and switches were dangerous.

Stay here for a genuine Marrakech experience, with extremely polite and helpful staff.

Pros: Excellent location and friendly staff. Historic, old building which gives a genuine flavour of living in the culture of Marrakech. Very quiet and peaceful, notwithstanding its very central location.

Cons: Towels were very worn out. The place could do with a bit of fresh paint in parts, but overall there is very little to criticise. This is a genuine Riad and if that makes it a bit \

We will return!

Pros: Very Central location 3 minutes stroll to main square Jemaa El Fna. Omar was a great host, pick up from taxi taking you to Riad few mins walk. If needed you are 1 minute to shops and food stalls. Any requests or excursions were available from the Riad. Moroccan style breakfast served every morning by beautifully friendly staff. My partner fell in love with their beautiful puppy Maya! Highly recommend great value for money.

Authentic and quiet location in the heart of the souk

Pros: It’s the perfect location, at the heart of the souks yet it’s so quiet which is great for a good nights sleep! The riad is cute and authentic, the breakfast was delicious and everyone was so lovely! So happy that we chose it, hopefully we can visit again because I honestly felt so immersed into the culture

Lovely stay at Riad Ago

Pros: We loved our stay at Riad Ago! We stayed for 2 nights to see a little bit of Marrakech. It was a great location! Quiet at night but very close to the hustle and bustle of the markets. Our host was super friendly and helpful, all the staff were great and smiley. And they had the sweetest dog that loved a cuddle. Would definitely return! Thankyou

affordable, above-and-beyond service, good location

Pros: The location was a short walk from the main square. The staff were AMAZING!! Hamza and Rida, brothers, gave us an overview of where we were located, local map, made bookings for day tours and airport shuttles, and even helped us wrap up two tajines (awkard-sized, fragile ceramics) for carry-on on our return flights. Breakfasts were tasty. All staff were very polite and super helpful. The riad was quiet and safe for mother/daughter travelers. We enjoyed the 2 little dogs on-site. They were never pesky, noisy or bothersome - we called them to us, as we missed our dog at home.

Cons: It's a restored, older riad, so it might not be asthetically possible, but a shower curtain would be so nice. Water got all over the floor when we showered. Another outlet in the bathroom or bedroom would be a huge help as there is only one outlet, and when it was chilly, that outlet had to be used for the plug-in heater. An easy solution would be a multi-outlet power strip provided in each room.
