Riad Black Doors was perfect for a short stay. Recommended for those who would like a simple lodging in Marrakech
Pros: Our host Khalid, who met us from the taxi drop, was friendly, informative and helpful at all times. The room was simple, shower and toilet divided off. The bed really cosy. A sweet Moroccan breakfast was served on the roof terrace and sometimes tea in the afternoon if we were there. The bustling main square Jaab el Fna is 7-10 minute direct walk through the colourful market street. Bureaux de Change and ATMs all close at hand.
Cons: Hot water took a while to reach the en-suite shower each morning and failed completely on our last day. There was nowhere to sit in the room, but there’s a small sitting area outside the rooms and also on the roof terrace.

Well located!
Pros: Amazing Riad, we had some special requests for the host. An early breakfast at 6:45a a.m to go to the airport and he did not hesitate on saying yes right away! Got the room on the ground floor and was a bit tiny but very comfortable, I’m sure the rest of the rooms are even better. Location is very good right in the heart of the Zocco market. For the price 10/10

Basic but excellent for its price.
Pros: Riad is basic, but the bottom line is it had excellent heating, excellent hot water and wifi (we were there in winter and Marrakesh was very cold!). So looked forward to coming back to our snug little room! Also Khalid was excellent. He had just started working there but went out of his way to help, and answered any questions. Was very polite and always attentive to any need we had. Th breakfast he prepared was great. He even got up really early to mar me breakfast when had an early morning train.
Cons: Nothing. It is basic but very reasonably priced.

Pros: The staff is incredibly helpful, kind and available. They supported me with everything I asked and needed. The hotel is nice, its location is perfect if you want to stay in the medina. I stayed with my 15 yrs old daughter and had a great time.

Riad black doors was a beautiful place
Pros: Traditional look. Friendly staff who were very easy to talk to and communicate with. Met all our needs. Beds were clean and freshly aircon units in each bedroom was great. Terrace was lovely and spacious.
Cons: Lighting in the rooms were quite dim. Needs some maintenance like repainting bathrooms as paint was peeling. A bit dusty in places and on furniture so a good scrub needed

Riad you would wish to stay at again
Pros: EXCELLENT LOCATION-in just a couple of minutes walking you are directly at the city's main square Jemaa el Fnaa yet you can enjoy the peaceful secluded location of the riad although it is located just in a side street of a bustling and busy medina, ATTENTIVE HOSTS-they made our stay really enjoyable, they organised our pick up at the airport as one can get easily lost in medina for the first time, moreover they were always easy to reach if we needed any help, DELICIOUS BREAKFAST-we got it served on the terrace every morning which was a great start of the day, ROOM-comfortable bed and pillows, shower and toilet are in the same area but this didn't bother us as the water from the shower dried up very quick, NEIGHBOURHOOD-very conveniently located in medina and very close to main square and Koutubia mosque, literally few steps after leaving road you are already surrounded by numerous shops
Cons: No remarks at all!

Friendly host, great check-in
Pros: Very friendly check-in and host, greeted us with a good coffee, organized a take-away breakfast for our early leave. Room was clean, beautiful, with all needed stuff. Location is also very central.
Cons: Toilet is separated from a bathroom by a curtain, so that's quite akward to use it with another person in a room. Shower water goes directly on the toilet seat, not smart organization of the bathroom in overall.
