The Grand Riad and Spa

A lovely riad with wonderful staff.

Pros: This is our second stay at this lovely riad. It is home from home. The staff are lovely; they speak excellent English and give great advice. The rooms are delightful as is the main courtyard. Dinner is delicious and reasonably priced. A fabulous stay!

Cons: At the price offered, it is perfect!

Best riad in Marrakech

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay and could not have asked for a better place. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always making us feel welcome and at home. The riad is very quiet and peaceful, a true oasis away from the busy streets. It is stunningly beautiful, like staying inside a museum, with so much character, history, and charm in every detail. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it easy to fully unwind. The internet was fast and reliable, which was a great bonus. Overall, this was truly the best place we stayed in Marrakech. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely love to come back again.

A lovely riad on the edge of the old city

Pros: Very nice breakfast in the courtyard. Loved the flat bread or rotis. Also, the roof terrace is very nice, and a good place to listen to the muezzins.

Cons: Ideally, we would have liked a tiny bit more room in the bathroom but it wasn't a problem.

Pros: Riad was beautiful and staff were extremely helpful and nice... Helped us with any excursions we planned and upgraded our room when we booked a few extra nights Highly recommend in marrakech

Relaxing, hospitable, lovely.

Pros: The Riad is very clean, smells amazing and is gorgeous! I love the rooftop lounge and having breakfast around the pool in the morning. It’s such a special place with amazing energy.

Pros: The riad was beautiful and clean. Our bed was super comfortable and our room was welcoming and clean. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.

Cons: The bathroom was small with nowhere to put our cosmetic and travel pouches. The shower has no glass and flooded the floor. Our room faced onto the road and at times it was very noisy during the night. We didn't ask to change rooms but I'm sure they would have accommodated us. Our friends didn't experience the street noise so it was particular to our room. The location was a bit sketchy and difficult to find but once you walked in, it was a beautiful hotel/riad.

Good spot on North side of Medina

Pros: Staff were so helpful and attentive. They will help you find places. Enjoyed the Hamman and massage at the hotel. Lovely terrace. Pool is inside and small so no exercise in there. Nice breakfast but don't expect full English brekkie. Small side streets can be tough to navigate and had one incident with one guy wanting money but most locals are very helpful. 2 min walk to taxi stop is good. Walk to main square Jemma el Fnaa is 15-20 min depending on crowds, bikes, scooters etc. Overall we preferred our hotel on the edge of that square as it had a nice rooftop pool and was very quiet.

Great Riad with amazing staff, and tasty breakfast in the heart of Marrakech's Medina. Wonderful!!

Pros: What a wonderful experience. The Grand Riad and Spa was a very nice property and the decor and architecture was beautiful. The breakfast was very good. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed to have a pleasurable stay at both the Riad and for touring in Marrakech and beyond. Special thanks to Ghizlaine, Marwan and Yuosef who were all extremely friendly helpful, warm and caring. They made us feel like we were family!! Overall, an excellent Riad and we would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Incredible riad in a peaceful part of the medina

Pros: The staff! Ghizlane and the rest of the team made our stay very comfortable. They made great recommendations of how to plan our long weekend in Marrakech and were very attentive throughout. The Grand Riad and Spa gave the perfect picture of Moroccan hospitality at its finest.

Cons: Breakfast was lovely, but we felt it could have been more varied

Pros: I loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the service of the staff, who were always very helpful and available. Super friendly and kind staff. Very family hotel. I'll go back.
