Riad Zen House

Pleasant place, great staff, convenient location

Pros: Friendly staff, location, nice rooms and breakfast

Cons: No natural light in our room. Door to bathroom was hard to open once you are in.

Pros: We left really early so we weren't able to enjoy the breakfast but the staff was so kind they prepared us a small breakfast to go for the next morning. It was really great and we appreciated the gesture. The room was very clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom was nice and had everything we needed. We loved the architecture. 10/10 stay and would recommend to everyone coming here. Check in was super simple. When looking for the riad, just make sure to look up at the signs.

Clean and comfortable Riad with lovely staff

Pros: Beautiful Riad, really helpful staff and the bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned to a high standard everyday.

Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and property was in a good location.

Pros: We stayed here for one night and really liked the place. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the whole riad has plenty of authentic touches that make it feel special. It’s quiet and in a great location — just a short couple of minutes’ walk from the car park. Samir was extremely attentive and friendly, and it was a pleasure to meet him. He genuinely made our short stay even better!

Lovely place and at a reasonable walking distance from main attractions

Pros: It was a lovely place, with great and helpful staff The breakast was good and it was a good location as it was walking distance from the main attractions

Cons: Overall we had a very good experience. We’d just recommend for future visitors that if going to the center, avoid the Google maps shortcuts and focus on the main street as some of the streets recommended can be slightly isolating and initimidating.

Amazing helpful staff and gorgeous rooms

Pros: Really beautiful , rooms were gorgeous and very nice bathrooms. The staff was super accommodating and helpful and prepared a very early morning breakfast for us as we were leaving on a trip.

Friendly and comfortable stay

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient being collected from the airport, and met from the car to be walked to the door (as it would have been tricky to find!) They provided a map to help us find our way around until we were more familiar with where to walk. The Riad was clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned daily and we had breakfast served by the pool every morning. It was close enough to the centre of the Medina to walk to the centre easily. There are also some very nice restaurants nearby, which are in back streets/behind doors, so do your research online.

Cons: Our only suggestion would be a bit of fruit with the breakfast would have been appreciated. But breads and coffee and juice each day was great (even when we had an early flight home). Also, a tip that it is cheaper to buy bottled water at one of the small shops nearby. But the Riad does have drinks and food to buy if you need.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. Shout out to Samir for being amazing! Room was always cleaned and tidied to a high standard. Breakfast spread was big and tasty. Riad was beautiful with lovely terrace and sunbed area.
