Amazing Experience!
Pros: Our stay at Villa Makassar was memorable. Everything there is perfect, well-maintained, clean, and extremely tasteful. The recreation of the art deco environment is perfect down to the smallest detail. But much more than the facilities (which are excellent!), what truly stands out is the professionalism and extreme kindness of the entire team. We were received and treated like dear friends, and all the attention we received was genuinely far beyond the merely professional: the people at Villa Makassar have a real commitment to welcoming and caring for their guests. An unforgettable experience. Breakfast is tasty (and generously served until 11 am, which is rare in hotels) and the restaurant is excellent. The menu and wine list are concise but just right to offer hearty and delicious meals. The services offered at Hamman are excellent and provide a unique experience that shouldn't be missed. Enjoy!
Cons: I can't find anything negative or unsatisfactory about the week we spent at Villa Makassar. Everything flowed smoothly, pleasantly, and was extremely enjoyable.

Old world charm and Moroccan escapism
Pros: Staff were incredibly friendly. The whole place was like an oasis in the city, it felt like you were being transported back in time to a chic and luxurious Moroccan hotel from the past.
Cons: It’s perhaps starting to feel a little dated and is a fair walk away from the central parts of the city

Pros: Extremely friendly staff managed by clever and sensitive manager! She made unforgettable stay for us - organize our entertainment and assure our cozy stay in Villa Makassar! Started with Morrocan traditional welcome tea served with warm hospitality. After that we were accomodated in cozy luxurious studios with plenty of amenities. We had a great dinner in the restaurant with live music. We met please HAMAM massage in the SPA. They organized for us pleasant entertainment in the desert and at the end of our stay - cooking class in their restaurant. THANK YOU ALL THE STAFF!

Home from home in Marrakech
Pros: Another amazing stay at Villa Makassar (our third)! The building and art decor interior is amazing, we enjoy the calm atmosphere and it’s home away from home feel. The staff are amazing Samira and the front of house team make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and are happy to help you with anything. Ismail, Youssef and Zak in the restaurant are always happy to see you and give exceptional service. The food is delicious and we enjoy all our meals. There are amazing Moroccan wines to discover. The spa is tranquil, a traditional hammam and massage during your stay is a must!!
Cons: Nothing.

We read the reviews about this Hotel on Google and didnt have great expectations, however we found
Pros: We read the reviews about this Hotel on Google and didnt have great expectations, however we found it to be wonderful stay. Room was very comfortable. The food served at dinner and breakfast was fresh and cooked to a very high standard. The Hotel itself was bright and had lots of light unlike many of its competitors, in many Arabic hotels there is minimal light in a bid to keep the rooms cool. The staff could not have been nicer and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with a bar, buzzer on the bar was responded to very quickly. Small but beautiful pool which was so refreshing after walking around the sooks all day. I would encourage you to stay at this Hotel as I truly don't think you will not be dissapointed.

Exceeded expectations. Didn’t regret my choice to stay with them.
Pros: I thought all the staff went the extra mile with no expectation in return, especially Samirah, Jalila, Chakib, Ismail and the chefs. We were vegetarian and they accommodated our every request. The breakfasts were a highlight every morning as they would have something different everyday. So we never got bored of breakfast and it kept us going for the whole day that we saved so much money on lunches. Ibrahim was excellent with the atlas mountain tour that the hotel arranged. The staff felt like my extended family and they made us feel totally relaxed and at home. The location is perfect being in the Medina but not in the hustle bustle noisy part. Also accessible by Taxis. There was a background relaxing piano music. I also loved the background birds tweeting away in the morning – felt like I was sleeping outdoors but indoors. Never have I experienced that, felt at one with nature.
Cons: Bathroom was a little dated, but clean and livable. I believe the rooms were a little bit dark but they accommodated my request and gave me Russeaux the lighter room so no complaints on that front. Phenomenal art deco hotel with attention to detail.
