RIAD AWINATI Location Privatisée

Apart from the pool that was never heated, we had an exceptional stay at this riad. Asma is such a gem!

Pros: We were a group of women in Marrakech to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were so well looked after by Asma - she is such a gem. Always a smile on her face. We requested a meal from her and she had her Mum help make it. That was one of the best homecooked traditional Moroccan meal we had during the trip. The riad was at the heart of the Medina- a short stroll to the Jmaa el Fnaa square and easily accessible to the souks.

Cons: We specifically booked this riad for the heated pool. Unfortunately, it was never heated and we never got a chance to use it. Too cold in December. Downstairs rooms really need updating and lock fixing.

Fantastic Stay – Amazing Staff and Perfect Terraces

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Riad Awinati. The property is exceptionally spacious and well equipped, with incredible terraces and open spaces perfect for relaxing during the day or evening while enjoying lovely views. The staff were outstanding throughout. Asma prepared the best breakfast each morning and was extremely responsive to anything we needed. The rooms were spotless, the internet worked reliably, and the location was within easy walking distance of many key spots in Marrakesh. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the city. Thank you for an amazing time.

Cons: They only accept cash payments, which can be inconvenient if you don’t usually carry large amounts, though they were very accommodating and provided a payment link after discussing it with us. Just note that the deposit is cash only, but we received it back on the last day without any issues.

Pros: The Riad and the location were both fantastic, excellent value for money as was located next to key tourist spots. The Riad was walking distance to places within old marrakech and also easily accessible via taxi to new marrakech. The venue itself was clean and tidy and the staff were amazing. Ayoub, Amine and Asma were all fantastic and super friendly. It made our experience a special one! Thank you!

Pros: Make sure once booked that you get in touch with the host , she is absolutely brilliant and messaged me straight away regarding arrival times. She met us at the property and arranged breakfast times, showed us around the property, and pointed us in the right direction to the best places to visit .

Amazing Riad in magical Marrakesh

Pros: Where do I start , on arriving in Marrakech our taxi awaited us arranged by Mouna at the Riad and we were brought to the spectacular Riad Awanati. We were blown away by how beautiful it was, each room wonderfully decorated in traditional Moroccan style and it felt like a palace, huge is an understatement . We were so looked after by Mouna who arranged our trips for us on request and Asma cooked us a delicious breakfast everyday , absolute heaven. I highly recommend booking Riad Awanati , it’s a special place and you’ll be so well looked after by Mouna and Asma. We can’t wait to come back to magical Marrakesh made all the more memorable by staying at Riad Awinati.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect

Holiday home

Pros: We were a party of 5 adults and 5 children We liked that it was spacious and comfortable and that Esma the cook was brilliant, she was very polite and helpful. She cooks lovely food and she tries to please everyone There are plenty of amenities close by like corner shop, mosque,tombs and places to eat at. Also the main market djemaa el fna is about 10mins walk away.

Cons: We were disappointed that the pool was small other wise everything else was brilliant

Bitter sweet

Pros: The Riad was beautifully renovated and very clean. The staff very helpful and sweet, Ashma is an amazing person, she and her college made us breakfast every morning and it was very good. The manager Franc was correct but he needs to learn a little bit how to treat the guests.

Cons: There was a deposit to be paid of about 300 Euros that was not reflected before hand so, once you made the full payment for the Riad, the manager Franc tells you about the depsit, and that's very very wrong in many ways. Here I am after 17 days and still haven't been refounded, and Booking said that it will be a month, A MONTH!!!!! Unacceptable!!!! Very angry about this, Booking says that it is the Riad, and Riad sais that it is Booking. I just hope that nothing goes wrong after the month.
