Riad Jowara

Pros: Very polite and helpful staff. Great location and amazing breakfast. Also very beautiful rooftop.

Cons: Our room was on the first floor and it can be a bit noisy at night with the passing motors outside.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful, very nice breakfast served on roof terrace. Location on the edge of the medina made it very easy to find, yet only 12min walk from main square.

Cons: Other guests struggling to open the traditional bolts and padlock on the doors can be noisy. But it's a small price you pay for staying in authentic accommodation.

Pros: Great wee hotel, the staff were lovely and bending over backwards to help us with anything. The room was super clean and comfy and the bathroom facilities great. The location is also amazing, it's very quiet yet streets away from the main souks and main square.

Cons: The room was tiny and the bathroom even tinier to the point where you had to slide your knees to the side when sitting down on the toilet. This is understandable as it's a historic building and has limited space for enlargement and we did get used to it fast.

Perfect base for exploring the city

Pros: Our stay in Riad Jowara was pleasant. The hotel staff, with a special mention to Sophian, were very friendly, helpful and highly cooperative. Our breakfast exceeded our expectations and the hotel’s location was very central and easily accessible to most worth visiting attractions. Highly recommended for a stay!

Great location but hard to sleep

Pros: - awesome location at the edge of the souk - nicely designed rooms and inner court - good breakfast with very friendly staff

Cons: - the mattresses (at least in our room) were hard as the blank timber underneath; we asked for extra duvets to get some sleep at all -> this can easily be fixed - in general noisy due to the architecture of the riad -> definitely bring ear plugs - specially noisy because other guest groups talked all night in daytime voice -> maybe the staff can take care pro actively - humidity in the room will eventually need to be treated to avoid mold

Pros: The hotel is centrally located, the accommodation is very beautiful, and the breakfast is delicious. Also, the staff is exceptionally kind and attentive
