Hotel & Spa Riad El Walaa

Pros: Traditional riad on back street off Medina. Location excellent. The room was basic enough but we knew that (no TV/kettle). It was clean and serviced daily with fresh towels. We came to experience Marrakech so it didn't bother us. Breakfast is pleasant.

Pros: Very close to the main square and Souqs. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Cons: The neighbourhood around the hotel!

Pros: Nice place to stay! Perfect location and friendly staff. Very good price per value! Should be great when its not January, but perhaps March/April! Do recommend!

Cons: Different traditions in massage - please, speak before about how exactly it will be and tell what would you like and not! Then there wont be surprises! ;)

Beautiful Riad offering Comfort and Convenience

Pros: Great location, well placed in the heart of Marrakech and close to the lively souks of the city. The staff on the day of arrival was so polite and kind. He helped us a lot to settle in and even guided us in exploring the souks of Marrakech. The rooms are very spacious and have lots of storage areas. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean. The morning breakfast was amazing and sumptuous.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Clean room, fresh linen, spacious. Near to centre but quiet

Cons: I'd hoped to watch the AFCON semi-final (Morocco v. Nigeria) but there are no TVs (in rooms or communally). In fairness I've normally no interest in TV in hotels

Loved our stay, the place is well located and reasonably priced.

Pros: The staff communication was excellent and they helped us by organising a meal on arrival. Taxis to and from the airport were organised by the Riad and this helped us with timing and feeling relaxed. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day and it was lovely sitting by the pool enjoying the surrounding. Our room was spacious and well laid out. With a nice shower and double sinks for getting ready. The location was convenient for getting around on foot, walkable to everything in the Medina.

Cons: As first time visitors the small streets can feel confusing at first but our trusty paper map helped. Being dropped off at night and given directions to the Riad was a little tricky but it wasn't far to walk and felt safe.

Zen-like Riad in a fantastic location, close to the main square and perimeter road around the Medina

Pros: Zen-like Raid in a fantastic location - right off the souks and a few minutes walk to the main square. The Riad is located on a quiet street and it has double glazing so there is minimal noise from the outside world, which is great. The main atrium has a lovely sense of calm, and there's a nice roof terrace for relaxation. Our room was also pretty big with plenty of space.

Cons: No wifi at the hotel (it was meant to be fixed) I did notice stains on the bed sheets

A peaceful hotel in the centre of it all

Pros: Really lovely staff, excellent location, delicious breakfast and so quite.

Cons: Nothing can not complain about a thing

Good facilities in a quiet area

Pros: The Riad was in a quiet area and had a good-size swimming pool. The room was big, clean and the bed very comfortable. The waiter was very attentive and gave an excellent service.

Cons: The air conditioning was leaking, but it was also very rainy outside.
