Riad Excellence

Ideal place to stay in transit when arriving or before leaving Marrakesh.

Pros: Like most riads Riad Excellence was tucked away down a quiet side street but easy enough to find from the bus station. The staff are all warm, welcoming, smiley, friendly and helpful. Rooms on the first floor are up a narrow flight of stairs but we were helped up with our luggage which was kind. Bed, linen and pillows all of good quality and very comfortable. There were plenty of tv channels in English although we couldn't access them on our second night as the Wifi was down ! Breakfast was very good and different each day which was nice. There is a great roof terrace with sun loungers to sunbathe on, alongside shaded sitting areas.

Cons: The room was small and cramped with little clothes storage (although for a short stay that was fine) The small tv is fitted high up so difficult to see when in bed! Space is quite tight round the tables for breakfast but they are in a pleasant setting.

Pros: Central but in a quiet area. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Pros: Everything! The staff, the location, close to the center but still so quiet & peaceful. The Staff is outstanding! I will return to this Riad, therefore highly recommend it🤩

Pros: The staff is exceptional! All 3 of our hosts were amazing! A special thanks to Soumia, after our 3 days in the desert, she organized the hammam , meal & drinks for us. The best phrase to represent our stay: The perfect home away from home😊.

Pros: Riad Excellence exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible—so warm, attentive, and genuinely going above and beyond to make our stay (and my birthday!) truly unforgettable. The food was absolutely outstanding—without question some of the best we’ve ever eaten. The riad itself is spotless, bright, and beautifully airy. We were even lucky enough to enjoy a February sunbathe and breakfast on the terrace, which was wonderfully tranquil and gloriously warm. The location is perfect, making everything easy while still feeling like a peaceful oasis. We honestly couldn’t have loved it more and already hope to return. If you’re heading to Marrakech, we would 100% recommend this beautiful place. A total gem 💛

Pros: Our stay at Riad Excellence was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk from the heart of Marrakesh, making it perfect for exploring the city. What truly made our experience exceptional were the people working there. Youssef and his team are outstanding – incredibly kind, service-minded, friendly, and always smiling. Their helpfulness and attention to detail ensured that everything was perfect throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. If you’re looking for a place that combines great amenities, a prime location, and the warmest hospitality, Riad Excellence is the ideal choice. Highly recommended!

Beautiful riad and great hospitality

Pros: Lovely stay with a very welcoming and helpful host. The homemade Moroccan breakfasts were amazing. The riad is beautiful and our room was comfortable with air conditioning and a private en-suite.

Cons: The bathroom could use some maintenance, and unfortunately we didn’t have water for one night.

We were very happy either our choice and would highly recommend this Riad.
