Riad N'S & Spa

Pros: I booked my stay at a riad because I wanted the full moroccan experience and I'm so glad I did. The riad had a traditional decor and the room was very cosy. it was really close to the souks. All staff was super friendly and accommodating. One member of staff really stand out. Mourad was extremely friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable as well. Breakfast at the riad was fantastic! Full of flavours, well cooked and very filling. I absolutely recommend anyone to stay at this riad.

Cons: The only think I have to complained about is how the room is advertised, both in booking.com and in their own website. I booked a more expensive room thinking I was getting my own living room but it was a shared living room with another room. Frankly quite disappointing. The advert stated \

Really great stay

Pros: We had a great experience. Everything looks the same as on the pictures, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the staff is great. Everyone made sure to grant us a lovely stay. The breakfast in traditional moroccan style was always delicious and prepared with care (there was also option to eat it or get it packed a lot earlier before the breakfast hours - which saved us when we went on some full day trips). And the location was very convenient, not only there were a lot of stuff to do nearby, but also the prices seemed better than in some other parts of the souk. We can totally recommend!!

Vibrant, fragrant and colourful!

Pros: A lovely tranquil setting, very helpful and friendly staff, great location.

Cons: Nothing I 'didn't like', just minor detail, would have been nice to have facility to make drinks in the room.

A brilliant stay in a stunning Riad, with amazing staff

Pros: Lovely calm Riad in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

Cons: A little noisy when other guests were banging around at 1am

Pros: Clean, comfortable and authentic with friendly helpful staff and pleasant communal areas.

Cons: The location felt a bit sketchy at first - conveniently in the heart of the Medina but the last 100m down a narrow and dark lane patrolled by security at night - but we settled into it quickly and wouldn’t regard it as a deterrent

Lovely relaxed sleep

Pros: We only stayed 1 night on our last night after a desert tour. Bright and clean. Good breakfast. Security at door. Property will arrange massages in advance only (not a real spa). Good central location but far enough from noise. Hard to find even with Google maps - would recommend booking taxi with the Riad as will porter you to location. Otherwise locals will see you get lost and offer to take you and then expect a monetary gift. Lovely rooftop terrace with sun beds Pool is a plunge pool not a proper swimming pool Our room was on ground floor opposite kitchen (but probably one of the nicest rooms as we had a nose around when guests checked out) but a wee bit noisy outside when staff are preparing breakfast

Lovely Riad in the Medina of Marrakesh.

Pros: The Riad N'S & Spa was just what we wanted in the Medina. The room was comfortable and suited us well. There was a small fridge in the room with a mini bar, if you wanted. We arrived about 9pm at night and used the transfer option from the hotel where we were met at the airport and taken to the walls of the Medina where we were met by the 'hotel porter' with his trolley and taken to the Riad. We had booked an evening meal at the Riad which was very good. Breakfast was very good and filling too. The staff were lovely and very friendly even though some didn't understand English very well we got by on my schoolgirl French. The Riad was conveniently situated and once we got our bearings we were fine with finding the alleyway to the Riad. At night there was a security man at the entrance to the alleyway who would take you to your Riad as there are several in that area. We would stay there again.

Cons: The sink in the bathroom - was a sloping one where the water cascades down to the drain so no plug.

Beautiful calm riad with charming kind staff.

Pros: All the staff especially Zinab and Yusuf. Really kind people and really made us feel welcome. The riad is charming and I love the story and history around the riads and the medina. The breakfast was also good and the riad was so clean and smelled so lovely. The taxi drivers were nice and mustafa who carried the bags in his cart to the road was a nice touch. You really need good walking shoes or something with a grip as the pavements are old in and around the riad /medina and you will do lots of steps. This is all positive though. We had a late flight coming home and Zinab locked all our stuff away and we were able to return and listen to music whilst waiting for the taxi.

Cons: The location I must stress to anyone who is going to stay here to order the taxi from the riad as no cars are allowed in the medina (which is a positive thing) and then they will arrange a guide who has a cart to take you to riad especially if you have lots of luggage. We arrived around 7oopm at the airport in the pouring rain so having the taxi arranged with our name and driver there was a great thing and taxi drivers were nice and multi lingual. There is no way we would have found riad without it and I do think you need an international sim as well for google maps and to get around. You do get use to the medina but the alley ways are a bit creepy especially at night and some are not well lit.

I would recommend this Riad.

Pros: The fantastic staff are the main benefit of this Riad. Also very good central location (dont be put off by the slightly shabby entrance route).

Cons: Rooms are a little cramped.
