Absolutely Perfect!
Pros: Location was perfect. Just on the edge of the Souk and a lovely 5 minute walk to the square. Quiet location but in the middle of everything. Room was fantastic could not have asked for more. Great food and served beautifully on the terrace. Staff all amazing and so helpful. Highly recommended for enjoying time in Marrakesh.

Lovely riad good location
Pros: The location is superb just where the medina starts. The staff is very helpful the place is just lovely and you have so much space to yourself it’s like having your own apartment. The food is really good too we had their cous cous and it was the best. Breakfast included which is really good you have a couple of options to choose from and it’s a lot. Would definitely recommend it.
Cons: Parking is a problem but it’s not their fault there is one 5 mins away

First time we've been to Morocco but we'll be back to stay at Palais Dar Donab
Pros: The breakfast was exceptionally good. Healthy, nutritious and tasty - and lots of it. The location was perfect, Medina on your doorstep along with El Bacha coffee house and nearby Secret Garden. Staff very friendly and professional. Beautiful palatial building with its own pool restaurant & bar
Cons: Maybe the shower could have been more powerful. And the restaurant menu was a bit limited for veggies.

Overall we had a lovely stay, though perhaps expensive for Marrakech.
Pros: The Andalous room was extremely spacious and clean, though not luxurious. It was a lovely room, with a separate dressing area / spare bed. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. Friendly staff. Nice dining room and bar area.
Cons: Breakfast was fine but not great. Hard pillows. Foyer area not very welcoming. Birds flying into the kitchen.

Stunning Riad, well located just inside the medina
Pros: Beautiful Riad on the outskirts of the medina so easy drop off - no need to walk far with your bags. Very well located with everything on your doorstep and the suite we stayed in was stunning - would highly recommend Palais Dar Donab to anyone visiting Marrakech. Breakfast was also sublime
Cons: Nothing - loved everything

Pros: Our stay at this beautiful and unique hotel in Marrakesh was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel at home—welcoming us with fragrant Moroccan tea, assisting with boarding pass printing, and offering genuine smiles throughout our stay. Their warmth set the tone for a peaceful and well-supported experience. The room was a sanctuary: tastefully decorated, quiet, and immaculately maintained. Housekeeping was consistently top-notch, with thoughtful touches that made us feel pampered. The pool was another highlight—crystal clear, refreshing, and perfect for unwinding after exploring the city. While the breakfast didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of variety, the overall atmosphere and service more than made up for it. This hotel is a true gem—ideal for travelers seeking charm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in the heart of Marrakesh.

Very nice and we'd stay again...
Pros: The hotel has only five rooms, and ours was exceptionally spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed... The property itself is lovely, and you’re truly spoiled with the quality and charm of the rooms... We stayed in three different Riads within the Medina, and this one was by far the nicest... Breakfast was generous and filling, providing more than enough energy to take on the souks for the morning...
Cons: The pool is located in the middle of the restaurant, which gets quite busy (and understandably so, as the food is very good)... However, it can feel a little uncomfortable using the pool with so many non-hotel guests around... Maybe not a negative although worth mentioning to future guests...

The location is excellent and the staff very helpful.
Pros: It is a very authentic Riad, with very impressive suites. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very good and we really enjoyed the breakfast.
Cons: The pool is not always accessible as it is also the dining area. Unfortunately we woke up one morning to loud construction work and scaffolding erected right outside our room. We had not been informed this would happen and on returning from sightseeing late in the afternoon we had to insist that it stopped. The reception staff did their best for us but it created a lot of dirt and dust for several days.
