Riad Aloes & Spa

Great location. Great stay.

Pros: Everything was so nice. Location was simply perfect, short walk away from medina entrance. Everything’s around - Jemaa el-Fna, Bacha coffee, Koutoubia Mosque, Jardin Secret.. also many very good restaurants. Our room was cleaned everyday. Every morning nice breakfast ( we asked for scrambled eggs in departure breakfast). Men in reception were very welcoming. Rooms not quite big, but as we only need them for sleep, that was no problem at all. They had warm down blankets, which we preferred. In room we were able to heat up a bit, as in evenings it gets colder, but only for first night. We didn’t use Spa, but it looked nice. Also the terrace was very good.

Pros: It looks like the pictures. Traditional Riad in the middle of the old city, close to everywhere. Nice terrace. Nice breakfast. Quiet clean. Had good sleep. Very helpful friendly staff, Muhammad.

Cons: Lights there are quite dim everywhere, but to be fair that could be a personal preference. That’s the only thing.

Happy, clean and beautiful place to stay in the heart of Medina

Pros: Beautiful Riad, decorated really nicely. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and made me feel very welcome. The location is so fab, right next to the souks in the heart of Medina. It’s super quiet in the Riad - I slept very well. I was travelling alone as a woman and felt extremely safe and happy at the property <3 :)

really good choice, excellent hospitality

Pros: i really liked the room, the breakfast was homemade and very good. the host , Mohammed, was also very nice to us and very helpful with any issue we had. The tea was excellent. The location is super convenient and the neighbors very quiet. i really recommend this riad as we felt most welcome.

Cons: Once the lights did go out but they fixed it in half an hour and the host was very apologetic. Room was a bit cold at times.

My perfect stay in Marrakech

Pros: Mohhamed, welcome us and was on our dicsposal during the stay and respond to all needs. Thanks a lot of his kindness. I would visit again for sure.

Cons: You can improve the hammam a little bit. To add aromas and the lady not to be so quick. The room for the massage was a little bit cool. But the masssage was perfect.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, we both commented that the night manager was still smiling at breakfast at the end of a long shift! We spent a lot of time out and about in the city trying other restauraunts so cannot comment on the in-house dinner menu, however the breakfast was varied each day and came out quickly. We arranged a Hammam and massage in their spa room easily and for reasonable rates.

Cons: It did feel odd to have to knock on the front door each time we wanted to come back in, but staff were quick to let us in. We had our own key to private rooms, but not the front door - not sure if this is common Moroccan practice.

Excellent Accomodation and staff. Great location.

Pros: Excellent accordion. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Lovely selection at breakfast. Great location for sightseeing and access to Medina and bus/taxi to reach areas outside the Medina.

Visiting Marrakesh this is a lovely place to stay and not far to walk to the Secret Garden and main square of the medina

Pros: The staff were friend and very helpful. The home cooked dinner was delicious. The hamman and massage experience was wonderful.
