Pros: Brilliant location and the riad and rooms are beautiful. The staff were very accommodating!

Cons: The rooms have beautiful old doors which inevitably aren’t fully sealed, so there was a small amount of noise from the courtyard in the evening. It didn’t cause us any issues (we stayed out of season so the hotel wasn’t too busy) but it may be a consideration when more guests are staying

Lovely Riad in the Medina !

Pros: Lovely Riad in the Medina - close to the entrance so not a long walk with the bags. Very stylish and staff were very helpful. Bed was super comfortable !!

Cons: The doors didn't lock well, but nothing terrible. A little pricey for what it is, but great hotel.

Perfect stay at Riad Sakkan

Pros: I have no words to describe my stay at Riad Sakkan. The architecture is beautiful, charming, and elegant. Everything is spotless and of the highest quality — from the bed linens to the amenities and furniture. The service is absolutely impeccable. Halim was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to share the best tips about Marrakech — what to visit, where to eat, and where to shop. The chef prepares delicious dishes; don’t miss the cucumber and avocado gazpacho and the chicken tagine, both outstanding! Every single staff member was helpful, polite, and genuinely warm. Breakfast was also excellent. I truly hope to return soon!

Cons: Everything was perfect.

This is such a lovely Riad. Exactly what we expected!

Pros: The location is absolutely perfect. This riad is very easy to find. Its very close to all the souks but also the main road. The interior was super nice and modern. The food was delicious and the breakfast went beyond our expectations! The staff is super helpful with absolutely everything.

Cons: Some parts weren’t as clean as we’d expect! And the fact that no alcohol was served

Loved the thoughtful interior design to the senses

Pros: Understated but stylish Riad with plenty of relaxing space outside. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: The fact the bar had lost its license! and we could not take advantage of having the best time over dinner or at any other time , such a shame. Let’s hope they get it back soon to enhance the chilled atmosphere of beautiful Sakkan

Wonderful stay in a luxurious, welcoming and characterful riad in the heart of the Medina

Pros: The property felt like a beautifully designed, luxurious and welcoming home. So much character! Breakfast was always good quality and I was obsessed with the freshly squeezed orange juice. The freshly prepared food, wine and cocktails we ordered at other times was also excellent quality. We were blown away by the kindness, personal service and hospitality shown by the whole team - they are all so lovely! We felt they treated us like good friends from the start, always recognising us and asking about our day, answering the door with a smile, offering more coffee at breakfast, helping with arrangements, etc. The pool area and the rooftop sun terrace were both amazing on the hot days we experienced. I swam in the pool every day. It's heated but still refreshing. The bed and beautiful bedding were so comfortable, and in fact all of the furniture throughout the property was beautifully designed, comfortable and good quality.

Cons: There is nothing I felt strongly enough about to mention as a negative! Yes this is a Riad located in the Medina, so although the room are soundproofed you do occasionally hear a bit of conversation or activity outside your room, or the faint sound of a motorbike passing in the lane. It all adds to the atmosphere of staying in the Medina though. This didn't bother my husband but I'm a light sleeper, so I just wore ear plugs and we both slept brilliantly every night. The room is so calm and safe and comfortable you couldn't fail to get a good night's sleep!

Beautiful riad in the old city

Pros: Beautiful traditional Riad renovated with high taste. Very friendly staff. Location is fascinating. I loved the plants! Very instagram-able!

Cons: Our particular rooms bathroom - the shower was not in the nicest of condition- the tiling was cracked and missing. There wasn’t enough light. And I didn’t like that I had to walk across the 3 levels looking for a staff member to ask if they had a two pin adapter as ours wasn’t working.
