Riad Hilmuna Hammam et Spa

Beautiful Riad in central location.

Pros: Very nice and welcoming stuff, nice home made food and beautiful house. Thank you Luc for the spontaneous transport to the train station. I really enjoyed my stay.

A perfect stay.

Pros: The breakfast was simple but it was enough. The restaurant was a very nice place, overlooking the courtyard and the pool. The Riad itself is a beautiful place, clean, with lovely ornaments and fragrant smell. I love details of the interior that made the place charming: lamps, bookcase , sink in my room. And first of all I loved the cat. He seemed to be the co-owner of the house. Luc! Thank you for the perfect stay. And a great 'thank you' for a great staff: helpful, friendly and polite.

Fabulous place and wonderful people

Pros: This Riad was beautiful and authentic and I can’t speak highly enough of the staff who were all wonderful. Location was good if a little off the beaten track - lovely and quiet.

Pros: Staff was great and everything was really clean. Food also was very good but I would consider including some eggs or some sort of protein with the breakfast.

Cons: Nothing to do with the riad, but location was a bit offsetting at night due to the narrow alleys. Thankfully there is light on the streets which makes it better. Marrakech has been one of the worst trips I've done in my life, city is full of scammers, motorcycles that pass next to you with no respect, dirty streets... it was not pleasant in my opinion. Be careful in medina if you pay by card, they duplicated my card and 3 different police men said there was nothing they could do to help me.

Excellent Visit

Pros: Simply a fabulous stay. Luc and his staff are the kindest and most welcoming people I have met in my travels. Exceeded expectaions in all aspects. Always willing and ready to help and provide assistance with simplicity and trust. Wonderful facilities and comfort. Thank you for making my visit so pleasurable and comfortable

Pleasant riad

Pros: Located in a quiet part of the medina not far from the bus station, taxis, souks & Jardin Majorelle. Pleasant staff. The dates & fruit in the room were a welcome touch. Good views of the Atlas Mountains in the distance but you had to ask to access the locked higher part of the rooftop to see the view. Entertaining manager.

Cons: The room was cluttered with furniture. How many chairs can one or two people possibly need? No room to swing a cat. I managed to reposition the furniture so that there was room for me & my baggage. This was repositioned back by staff (twice in one day) so I was once again falling over it. I had to request for this to stop. My room was on the ground floor facing the courtyard with spa pool, lounge, plus staff & guests outside my only window, so very little privacy. I had to keep the windows closed, curtains drawn & air con on any time I was in the room. Upstairs rooms may have been better but were unavailable. The booking.com site for this property still has an extensive & alarming page of information about proof of Covid vaccination &/or a negative PCR test to allow entry to this property, not to mention social distancing, mask wearing etc etc. I contacted Luc about this prior to arrival in Marrakech & spoke to him about it in person. It needs to be removed. Luc had a very casual attitude to this significant error in requirements.

Pros: Nice smiling faces ready to help with everything. Good advices about almost everything.

Group Trip to Marrakesh

Pros: Riad Hilmuna is a perfect place if you are planning to travel with a group. We had an Amazing time! Luc and all his staff are extremely attentive and kind. They helped us to organised the different day trips and also transfers from/to the airport. Breakfast was great, and YES also dinner and lunch. The location of the Riad is also so convenient since it is nearby to everything and not in the middle of the caos of the medina. Definitely a place to be if you are planning to visit/stay In Marrakesh. Grazie!

Beautiful Riad smack bang in the middle of the best of Marrakesh

Pros: All round super Riad. Lovely vibe, perfect hosts, and felt right at home. Well done, Exceptionnel

Cons: Nothing about the Riad it was lovely, we just didn't appreciate the chaos that is Marrakesh, its not a problem as you soon get into it, but we were dazed for the 1st 24hrs.
