Amazing and very nice experience.

Pros: Riad Atay is stylish, comfortable, quiet, with excellent service. Lovely terrace where we had a delicious breakfast. Large, comfortable bed. Excellent shower. The decor throughout is authentic Moroccan - I think Berber - austere, simple, luxurious and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the really friendly staff. It is in the heart of the souk but very quiet. I highly recommend.

Pure enjoyment

Pros: Beautiful riad. We enjoyed it The staff is very kind, they met us for everything we needed. The terrace is a little perfection, the rooms are wonderful. Breakfast excellent It was wonderful.

Pros: The location was very central, and the entrance was off the beaten track, but very easy to find; well located to just about every place you’d want to go. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. It was truly a peaceful haven in a very busy environment. Calming! Elegant decor, which was a relief from the busyness outside. Lovely seating area outside our room where I had some mint tea and relaxed before bedtime. We had one of smallest rooms, but we were very happy with it. Romantic, very comfortable, good water pressure in shower. Bedding was superb. Comfortable pillow, warm and cosy. Delicious simple but plentiful breakfast.

Pros: The first thing that you note entering the door, is the extreme good taste of the interiors: a unique blend of styles, Berber/Saharian and minimalist /chic: white and grey in the walls, furniture and sculptures in carved wood, beautiful textiles( carpets and cushions), green plants, and a reflecting small pool in an alcove in the courtyard. The rooftop is the icing on the cake: day-beds under berber tends provide a wonderful setting both for resting and for eating exquisite breakfast and dinner; the service was unbeatable, and the kindness of the staff extraordinary. Last but not least, the entire place was spotlessly clean and the maintenance perfect. It's our third visit in Marocco, and Riad Atay is certainly the best we ever been until now. (Only 5 rooms, book in advance!)

Pros: Stunning little riad in the heart of the Medina - spotlessly clean, lovely staff and quiet

Cons: It’s very hard to find so get good directions before you come. It’s down a slightly dodgy looking alleyway and tunnel but we had no issues and always felt safe even returning. At night The manger could not be more helpful.
