Hôtel Dar 55 - Berber House - Boutique Hôtel

Pros: We recommend it! Friendly service is standard in Morocco, and here, professionalism and a feeling of being truly well-cared for are a bonus. For the same price, we got a higher-standard room, and both looked very nice and stylish. It's clear that someone with a heart and heart took care of even the smallest details. We really appreciate it! The entire complex is very beautiful. The wonderful birdsong in the morning is a bonus!

Amazing!

Pros: My boyfriend and I had booked a stay at Hotel Dar 55, and from the moment we walked through the door, we felt genuinely welcomed. The first room wasn’t quite right for us, but the manager immediately offered us another one without any hesitation. We really appreciated that — you could tell they truly wanted us to feel comfortable and happy during our stay. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Always smiling, helpful, and available whenever we needed anything. We never felt like “just another booking,” but like guests they actually cared about. The waiters were incredibly kind and created such a warm and relaxed atmosphere every day. The pool was heated, which was lovely, and the food tasted really good. Everything felt easy, relaxed, and genuine. All in all, it’s a truly lovely place to spend your holiday. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and felt at home at Dar 55. We can warmly recommend this place to anyone considering a trip to Marrakech — we would happily come back again.

A little oasis away from the bustle of Marrakesh

Pros: First and foremost , the staff were all absolutely lovely - especially Mohamad who seemed to appear exactly when you needed him ! The rooms were amazing and unique - sort of cave like but with lots of light and yet beautiful shutters for keeping kids asleep in the morning ) . The aircon was the best we experienced in Morocco . The beds were large and very comfy. The pool area was so pretty ( pool heated to perfection ) with lots of cosy little areas to drink your virgin Mojito and read your book either in the shade or full sun . Sun hats free to use on every bed is such an ingenious idea . Breakfast was lovely and served around the pool .

Cons: A little bit hard to find ( look for the signs that say Villa 55 on the road ) & a 20 minute drive to Marrakesh - but after a few nights in the bustling medina, it was nice to just relax somewhere where everything was to hand

We loved our stay; staff were incredibly welcoming, quiet and relaxing, had everything we needed!

Pros: We loved our stay. Staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children 5, 8). The menu included various food options, there was more than enough space/beds at the pool including some toys for the kids, and the city was a convenient 15 min~ cab ride away. Quiet and peaceful, Berber House worked perfectly for our short family stay.

Cons: Nil - we loved it our stay!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. The place is very nice, and the staff is very helpful. Great new manager. The pool was heated and the rooms were nicely arranged. Great place to disconnect. It is about 20 min from Medina, about 200 Dirham each way.

Cons: Ask the manager to book a taxi for you and to explain the address to the driver, the address provided on the website (at least in April 25) took us to a remote location.

Pros: great breakfast, delicious meals, very nice staff, always ready to help, tranquility by the pool

Relaxing tranquil environment. Incredible attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Pros: Beautiful setting, pretty, wonderful outside area and lovely pool.

Cons: Comfortable beds, very spacious accommodation, very clean, lovely boho/Marrakesh decor, slight negative is that Bathrooms need updating !

Pros: Villa 55 is a little corner of paradise in Marrakesh. it’s just, quiet and beautiful. We had a really spacious and beautiful bedroom with a gorgeous bathroom, the pool and pool area are fabulous and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Patrice, the owner, is such a character: very welcoming and his priority is to make sure you spend an unforgettable stay. He can organise anything you need: excursions, taxis, restaurants bookings etc. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back with the whole family. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The food is great. It’s fantastic to come back to it after a busy day in the Medina or in the mountains etc. We feel really lucky to have found this little corner of paradise. Pros: Le calme, le cadre, le personnel très accueillant, réactif. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.

Cons: Les lumières le soir, c'est sombre et c'est un peu tristounet comme ambiance quand c'est ainsi. Sinon le riad est splendide.

Pros: Nous étions dans la suite royale très belle chambre lumineuse avec une belle déco L hôtel est parfait pour se ressourcer et se reposer Très belle piscine chauffée Le personnel est très agréable de la femme de ménage au jardinier Merci à Rachid pour sa gentillesse et son sourire ainsi que le serveur de la piscine qui est tout aussi gentil Je recommande fortement
